I’m in love with visual arts. I use my God-given talent to express myself through my obras.

I was a Fine Arts student in university when I first developed my own black and white photo. It was in an art class darkroom and I remember my awe when my first image slowly appeared on the photo paper’s surface as I agitate a tray of developing chemicals. From then on, my knowledge and passion for photography deepened. Along with my drawings and paintings, the photos that I take depicts the unique view that I have of my surroundings. Photography, per se, is a complex form of art, where the photographer has endless ways of making his creative visions tangible; letting the world see what he sees by capturing a scene and immortalizing it as a still image.

As technology advances and anyone can now store thousands of photos in a tiny thumbdrive, showcasing and sharing your artistic expressions through photography has never been so easy. One way is through social media, and Instagram is probably one of the most effective platforms available. The digital squares of Instagram are perfect for instantly sharing any moments captured, and the app’s developers probably intentionally designed it that way. Instagram is not just for posting selfies and before-meal photos, it is a modern form of visual communication. As a photographer, I use Instagram as my very own exhibition board. I upload my shots and allow the public to appreciate or criticize them.
