The Joker Up Close The Joker is highly intelligent. Even though he may use his smarts for evil, he is still very persuasive. He is a master criminal. This is what makes him such an incredible leader. Some of his many accomplishments includes almost defeating batman, holding an entire prison hostage, and blowing up a vacant hospital without any assistance. DreamTeam Magazine had a one on one interview with the Joker himself and got the truth behind his deceiving smile .

The Joker stays powerful by adapting to the psychosis to respond to the world around them.

“You want to know how I got these scars? My father was a drinker and a fiend and one night he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn’t like that, not one bit. So, me watching he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it. He turns to me and he says ‘WHY SO SERIOUS SON?’. He comes at me with the knife ‘why so serious son?’ Sticks the blade in my mouth lets put a smile on that face and….. why so serious,” the Joker stated. Wow! There is the creepy truth behind those scares. You’ve got to wonder if that is what made him so evil!

Steve Jobs Steve Jobs was born on February 24th , 1955 and died October 5th, 2011. Although Steve’s life was short lived, he has changed the world today as we know it. By the age of 21 the entrepreneur started Apple with his two co-workers that progressed into a $180 billion dollar company. Not only has Steve Jobs changed technology for billions of people, but he was also the co-founder of Disney’s Pixar.

Steve Jobs could be viewed as a transformation leader. He was always changing his mind and changing his ideas to keep up with new technology. He had such high expatiations for his employees, some even despised him for his 19 expectations to be perfect.

Steve Jobs Steve has gone above and beyond with an unbelievable amount of achievements. For starters, Jobs created the world wide company in 1977 which is known as Apple. In 1986 Jobs looked at a new way of technology and founded Disney Pixar in 1986. Steve then opened his first Apple store in 2001. There are now over 400 stores in the United States today. In 2007 he then did what was thought to be impossible. Jobs created the iPhone. Within 30 years Steve Jobs was able to to all of that and more

Steve led in company in a way that it was obvious he did not only care about the output. Steve Jobs paid close attention to the every employees input, as well as the process they take to get to their final product. Like I said before Jobs was into the fine details and perfection. 20

WHAT KIND OF LEADER ARE YOU? Q: When in a group what is the first thing you do?

Q: What are steps would take to get your final product?

A. Look at how everyone can contribute and try to understand their strengths and weaknesses. B. Set clear goals with your group.

A. Listen to the groups ideas and go from there, accommodating everyone in the group before yourself.

C. Wait for someone else to take the lead. Q: When confronted with a group issue, what do you do? A. Talk to every group member, finding a common ground and then move forward. B. Remind the group of what your working towards, adjust the problem and continue on.

B. Encourage everyone to gather their best ideas and decide how to improve them.

C. You don’t confront the issue, because you believe it will just blow over.

C. Contribute occasionally, letting other group members take on the heavy lifting. If you chose mostly A’s, you are a “Servant Leader”! If you chose mostly B’s, you are a “Transformation Leader”! If you chose mostly C’s, you prefer to not take on the leadership role. 21

Dear Haley, Please help me! Dear Haley, I am having troubles working with my small group. One of my teammates does not listen to what anyone has to say. He is always putting our ideas down, and only has negative things to say. Every time we meet, he is either late, or doesn't put in any input unless it is to tell us that our ideas are stupid. How do I deal with a teammate who acts this way? Help me! Sincerely, Annoyed and Frustrated

Dear Annoyed and Frustrated, Just about everyone encounters a bad group member at some point in their lives, so don't stress! The most effective way of dealing with a negative Nancy is to figure out why they are acting this way. Pull him aside and talk to him! There may be something he is going through that he needs to get off his chest. Showing him that you care about his opinions, but not his negativity can be a huge help! It is important not to give up on your teammates. This will make your team stronger, and will hopefully help you all to work together in a more positive and productive manner. Good luck! Sincerely, Haley 22
