research practice The GKN rebranding project functions as part of the Leadership Project sponsored by both GKN group and Birmingham City University. The above diagram illustrates how the rebranding approaches were come up with as a team formed by Kaifa Huang, Monira Alsaid, P. Sa-ngasri, and Qing Wang. This project aimed to address what resorts can be put into practice as to building up a new brand identity as part of the brand’s communication.

The logo displayed above was designed for the International Cooperation & Exchange Office at Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, the logo has been utilised since September 2015 in the official WeChat account.
The logo displayed above was proposed for the Commercial Real Estate project that is under construction in Guangdong, China. The logo derived from Chinese characters “中心”represents the meaning of grand central, marking the compelling locational advantages of this project which is just at the heart of the city.

The logo was designed and adopted in 2018, replacing the old version of it, on account of the better meanings, easier of use across the platforms, and clearer visual identity, etc. The logo employs welcoming colours which form a dynamic impression altogether.
