Another spring has come and gone and now we are in summer, which is my least favorite season of the year. However, this issue is breathing new life into summer and I’m so excited! When I decided to do a travel theme for the summer issue I have to admit I was quite weary. Themes can be very limiting and I’ve learned that I prefer a general mood rather than a theme for an issue. I’ve always wanted to have more international photos in Jute though, so I decided to go for it, and holy shit I am so glad I did! We managed to get editorials from every single continent! Well, aside from Antarctica. Antarctica photographers, where you at?

Anyway, the issue is beautiful and I’m getting a serious case of travel fever with this one. So many beautiful places and only one lifetime to see them all. I hope this issue inspires all of my readers to explore. Travel is expensive, we all know that, but there’s beauty in your own backyard and right around the corner. If you can’t afford to see a new country then see a new state or city in your homeland. If you can’t afford that then take a walk through a park you’ve never explored or try a new coffee shop down the street. I just want you to experience life!

Lynzi xoxo,
