Moving foreward, in the New Year, our team is committed to transforming and bettering the club culture with new on-boarding processes, membership drives, events, and so much more. As we implement standard guest policies in golf, tennis, fitness, pool, along with dining and social we believe this will enable us to better track guests and collect appropriate guest fees.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: WELCOME ALEX Alex Marozzi joined the Woodside Plantation Country Club family in December 2019 as our Membership Director. Alex has an extensive background in sales, customer service, and marketing. Her work experience includes 2 years at the Aiken Chamber of Commerce.

WOODSIDE FIT EXPO JANUARY 22ND BEGINNER’S PILATES Our beginners pilates class is perfect for all age groups and those who are just starting their fitness journey. This class will feature several different bodyweight exercises and stretches to improve flexibility and strength.

GENTLE STRETCH Come out to Woodside Fit for our Gentle Stretch Mini Series Class. This class will walk members through an easy 30 minute routine to stretch any tight or aggravated muscles, and improve flexibility.

HOW TO USE THE GYM EQUIPMENT & FOB SET-UP Back by popular demand! Come down to the Woodside Fit Facility for our “How to Use the Gym Equipment & FOB Set-Up” class on January 22nd at 6:00pm. Participants will get a tutorial on how to use the equipment in the gym and get fitness tips from Member Relations Coordinator, Kayla Victor. STRAWBERRY SUGAR SCRUB Sugar scrubs are a natural way to fight skin aging as well as brghten skin, promote healthy, smooth, and stunning skin. Try it out and see for yourself! All you will need 1 cup of cane sugar, 1 cup of freeze-dried strawberries, 3/4 cups of organic virgin coconut oil (at room temperature), and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract. First thing you will need to do is place the freeze-dried strawberries in a Ziploc bag, grab a rolling pin, and crush them until they are in a somewhat powder form. Then, add your strawberry and cane sugar into a mixing bowl, and mix. Finally, add the coconut oil and vanilla extract until all the ingredients are mixed together.

YOGA: FEBRUARY 15TH Burn off those Valentine’s Day calories at our next Yoga & Mimosas event on February 15th at 10am! The yoga class will be taught by Elena Bradford of Half Moon Studios in Aiken, South Carolina. Following the event, participants can enjoy a refreshing, all-natural Seltzer Rose. Yoga is a great way to build core strength, tone, stability, and improve cardiovascular endurance. It’s also a great way to improve your game on the course and court! 2020 is in full swing with Valentine’s Day activities for the enitre family, several Clubs within the Club and NEW social events! Interested in joining one of our Clubs Within a Club? Give me a call at (803) 6493383 ext. 5698. We’re kicking off the month of February with all things Valentine’s Day! Starting on Saturday, February 9th we will have our Annual Valentine’s Day Family Brunch. Then, we will have Valentine’s Dinner at the Club on Friday, February 14th featuring live muisc by pianist, David Brown. Members will have the opportunity to order A La Carte Packages for your loved one, that can be hand delivered to your table! We also have our Open House Event taking place on Saturday, February 22nd from 3-5pm. Please bring your family and friends to the Club for a complimentary glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres. Next, we have our first Jewlery Making Class happening on Friday, February 28th. This class will introduce how to make necklaces, and will be lead by Brooke Thomas of Ginger Bee Jewelry. Information PIGS SKIN IS IN Come on out this Sunday January 19th at 2 pm to have some tennis fun with your friends. Wear your favorite College or NFL Jersey. If you are a die hard fan or you just love the Super Bowl commercials this event is for you! No Jersey? No Problem! All are welcome to attend.The goal is simple! For you to have fun and meet new people. We will play 3 rounds. We will try to make the rounds as fun as possible! Fee: 2 can of Balls (Babolat or Wilson US Open). If you would not like to purchase new cans, you can bring your own balls. but you will be charged the price of 2 cans of balls. These fees will be used for the teaching carts, Junior clinics, and/or ball machine.
