Tri-State Free Methodist Family Camp Thursday, July 10 - Sunday, July 20
Holiness Unto the Lord
1027 Anderson Boulevard • East Liverpool, Ohio
Camp 2014 Evangelist
Thomas Ramundo is speaking this year. He has served in the ministry of the Free Methodist Church since 1970, the first 35 of those years as a lead pastor, followed by 8 years as Superintendent of the Southern Michigan Conference. While officially retiring in mid-2013, he maintains an active preaching, teaching, and ministry schedule. He and his wife, Noni - whom he married in 1969, travel on Biblical study trips to Israel, Jordan, Turkey and Greece, as well as mission trips to Latin America and Europe.
There’s something brewing at Camp this year! Camp mornings are made for coffee. Put camp and coffee together and you have the perfect blend! Each bag of direct trade coffee beans is fresh roasted right before it’s shipped. All the proceeds from the sale of our coffee go towards supporting our camp and its outreach to positively affect the lives of others. For nearly 100 years, our Free Methodist body has come together to worship and to camp on our grounds. Camp grounds and coffee grounds . . . two things that just seem to go together.
“Christmas in July” Light-up Night Since we can’t all be together at Christmas, we are going to have our first “Christmas in July” light-up night Wednesday, July 16 on the grounds. A $25 gift certificate for the camp “Christmas in July” Gift Shop & Bookstore is being awarded to the person with the best decorated cottage porch, camper or tent front, or dorm room door. Sign up in the gift shop!
2nd Annual Homecoming Night
The 14-area church pastors, as well as retired pastors, associated with our former district are being asked once again to offer a blessing on the camp during our 2nd Annual Homecoming Night taking place on Sunday, July 13 during the evening service. Each pastor will offer a short blessing, prayer or scripture before the evangelist speaks. We hope to see many familiar faces of old friends and lots of new ones, as well, as you support your pastor.
Guest Speakers from China
Hal and Debbie Haire, formerly of New Middletown, Ohio, will be with us this year to share their stories about living in northeast China where they have been teaching English in a university for two years. According to them, “Life has never been more exciting!” Join us Saturday, July 12 at 2:00 p.m.
