To See the Whole Video, Go To - Sparking Ideas Below is a transcription of this video I am recording this video in a commitment to record 3,000 videos in the next 90 days and one of the things that I do to actually get ideas to what I am going to record is I listen to podcasts. I am listening to a podcast right now Paphlins Podcast and he’s got Jonenburger on and he’s talking about contagious. I am two minutes into the podcast and ideas pop into my head. If you’re into sharing ideas and video recording or video marketing, I think success comes when those ideas pop into your head and you can put them into productivity.
One thing I was thinking about, I’ve been listening to podcasts at one and half times when I do listen to educational podcasts or if I do content based podcasts, that I want to spark ideas for my business. They are pleasurable to listen to but not hobby podcast. I listen to them at one and a half times which means I can get more content in during a period of time and there is no real loss of experience that goes along with that. I wanted to share that with you so if your listening, I have experimented with listening all the way up to two times the speed and if you have an iPhone, all you have to do it push one button where it says one making that one and a half or if you have any other smartphone, it’s pretty easy to do that. There is always more ways to get more content and more stuff inside your head if you practice that. Another practice I want to talk about is the practice of listening to things, especially if you have an iPhone. It’s very easy to click over and record those ideas and share those ideas that come into your head in that period of time. What I find with that is it starts solidifying the concepts a little bit better as opposed to waiting. If I wait for something, even if it’s a couple hours, all I get left with is maybe one or two ideas but if I record my information or my take on something and what I am going to do with it, I find it helps me to put it back into practice. I don’t want to say put it into practice immediately, but it is something I have available because I have it recorded and I have it in a blog post.
Worst case scenario, it becomes a marketing piece. It becomes a blog post for my business but best-case scenario, it leads and sparks a whole bunch of other ideas.
