For me it’s usually early in the morning when there’s some stuff that I just didn’t get done that needed to get done and started to see the signs that things aren’t working as well as I want. It usually comes when procrastination takes over. Let’s talk about procrastination because we all procrastinate at a certain level and we cover for it. We pretend that we don’t procrastinate.
The funny thing is that thing when we talk about, oh it was easy to get that done, it should have been easy to get that done. Well, dealing with procrastination is not easy. We should tell the truth about that. The people who actually get stuff done are the ones who can deal with their procrastination and manage their procrastination and feel the pain of doing the work and move forward and actually doing it anyway. Start to tell the truth about your procrastination to yourself, and especially when it comes up with those things, oh, it should have been easy for you to get that done. Start to figure out what are your triggers for your procrastination and start to work through those things pretty quickly, then youâ€™ll find the knots start to go away and then itâ€™s just a matter of taking some action and doing some work.
