Below is a transcription of this video It is March 7th, Tuesday morning at about 7 o’clock I’ve been up for about two hours so far. It’s 7 o’clock. I’ve been up for about two hours and I’ve been walking for about an hour and a half and spending about an hour of that time in my head thinking about stuff, having a conversation with people that aren’t actually there. I realize that’s kind of the definition of insanity but I wanted to share. I’m generally a happy person. I consider myself a successful person and you’re doing a lot of the right things but still fall into that trap of going into my head. I could have spent another three hours there thinking about stuff, looking at stuff, mulling over stuff. Instead I had my trigger, I had my out. My out is actually picking up the phone and recording a video like this. The other out is actually picking up the phone and contacting another person. Another way out is actually speaking to another person,
So that internal dialog let’s have some power of dialog. Shut that stuff off and find the ways. It’s not as easy as somebody gets frustrated, oh, just shut it off. Find that trigger and find that thing that allows you to shut it off and allows you to get yourself out of your head and out into the real world, out into the outside and projecting out is delivering a message that actually makes a difference. It’s not about getting rid of that stuff. It’s not about not having those challenges. We’re always going to have those sorts of challenges. It’s about coming up with those strategies to get yourself out of your head and get yourself in motion Thanks a lot for listening to this. Make today an awesome day.
