I get up at 4:30 every morning to do my videos and thatâ€™s the way that works the best for me to do it right now. Without actually taking care of myself personally and physically, getting up at 4:30 in the morning can have some negative repercussions.
Not sleeping potentially the eight hours a day and not having the energy to actually get through the day and take care of everything. This isn’t about sabotage and anything else. We want to be responsible for what we’re doing and we want the results of the work that we’re doing to be more powerful than the cost that actually come into it, both in the shortterm and the long-term. In the long-term, doing this work definitely has a benefit. For exercise, the simple thing is I do baseline walking. I think walking has huge amounts of benefits in a lot of different directions. It clears the head. It’s not so impactful in the knees. I walk 6.2 miles a day. That’s what I do and that’s what the target is and that’s a strenuous amount of exercise for me. Strenuous enough to do and allows me to still be productive. You could do whatever number that you want, but the key is doing some exercise on a daily basis. This isn’t about health, it is about health, but it’s about doing the right things with your body so that you can do the work that you need to to see the results. This is really, of course, again, on early morning routine and the purpose of an early morning’s routine to produce a lot throughout the day.
