To See the Whole Video, Go To - Capture the Moment I want to share just a magical moment that I had with my three year old this morning. I usually leave for the office before she gets up in the morning, sheâ€™s a late-to-bed sort of person and a late riser sort of person. When I got up and she was up early this morning, she comes in and she asked me to come to the office with me, which was great. I was kind of in a rush because Iâ€™m used to my morning routine of getting through things.
I was heading into the shower and she wanted to come in to the shower and I said, “You can’t come in to the shower.” She said, “I’ll wait for you on the outside.” As I was in the shower, I tried to rush through it to get out of there quickly. As I was rushing through, she got up and said, “Daddy, are you done yet? Are you done yet? Are you done yet?” I was shaving in the shower and I cut myself and so I came out and she got freaked out by the blood. She wasn’t sure if I was hurt or not, so we got to talk about it and I got to have a real conversation with a three year old explaining what happened, that I shaved and I bled. She kept saying, “Are you okay? Are you okay?” I got to the point where she got that I was okay and that I wasn’t hurt and that’s happened. She thought that was a funny experience. Those little magical moments where you actually get to connect with our kids on time but I’m kind of on a connection thing right now. Get to connect with our kids, that’s what makes all the difference in the world. If I didn’t put this on a video, I’m kind of in rush through today and I’ve got a thousand things to do and not have been present to what actually happens. Capture it.
