why ‘just’?

‘just’ was chosen as a short, succinct name which helps to define many of our core values and year-round activities, eg: adjective: morally right and fair well founded [discussion] adverb: exactly simply expressing agreement

In addition it allows us to conjoin activities with a ‘snap-on’ approach, ie: just dance just music just film

usage: exclusion zone

The just logotype should be given as much room as possible, especially given it is not contained by any box or device. A minimum exclusion zone comprises 1 character width – though we advise giving at least 2 character widths where possible.

Please do not: – Adjust the letterspacing – Rotate the logotype – Stretch the – Box off the logotype – Change the transparency – Change the colour – Overlay onto a dark colour – Overlay onto imagery – Apply effects eg drop shadows etc

‘just festival’ is the new name for Festival of Spirituality & Peace, which takes place each August. The identity comprises a series of overlaid shapes which pertain to the diverese strands of the festival (see p11). The version shown here is the primary identity for the festival, however the identity is intended to be dynamic‌

The strands each have a core colour which are only to be used in relation to an approporiate event / actvity. The colour strands will help audiences identify and navigate just’s activity. Please do not use the colours for nonspecified applications. The strand devices are not intended to be used in isolation, or modified. NB please adhere to usage guidelines as per just and just festival.

As the typeface for the logotype it should be used with discretion and only in direct use with to the identity. It is not intended to be used as a day-to-day text font. It is not for distribution.
