the ground. The reflections that is in the ground, it is not mirror of the source of light, but is a illuminated space. About this inherent structure that the image 2d has, it is from where the desicions are taken. The perspective of the experiment, the movement measures the height and the force of the time. And shows differents stages of the Light in decay.

The inner quality of light and the relationship with the inhabitation of an specific space, and the construction of these thicknesses of light related to the experiments it’s how the sections appear in the project

Boundless expansion.

The exposition of bodies and products. Bathhouse and supermarket use the same hall, revealing both programs at the same time and sharing the same horizontal space. The supermarket is defined as an international and delicatessen shop, where highly priced products and goods can be purchased. The space is the container (the substrata) where they are totally exposed into elongated internal worms of light, which constitutes the display shelves. People and products are revealed by high contrast of inner reflections. The bathhouse emerges from the ocean to the bakery area, where people from both places gather, the bar area aside the corridors and bathhouse provides drinks to both areas. Different thicknesses gather around the pool area continuing the slope, and the sea reflection in sequential order to the pier’s penumbra.

Two atmospheres meet in one elongated parallel thicknesses along the ocean line, along this light quality, two atmospheres get jointed by the high of steam and ocean reflections. .

1.transverse section, supermarket/storage longitudinal section, parallel to the harbour. The exposition of bodies and products. though this bridge , bathouse users will be exposed to the entrance of the supermarket.

2.transverse section, hall/supermarket Beneath the piers the intense penumbra enhance elements and surfaces, the extreme darkness and the hotness of the bathtubs is this line of continuity of contrasting different scales in order to propose an intimate space where the measure of the body and the expanded outner space connects.

These two atmospheres are related with the need of boundaries of human perception and its relation of closeness a distance between the experience and the space. The contrast between proportions in terms of distance, a measurement of landscape with the human body trough an element

3.transverse section, internal hot tubs/bathhouse

4.transverse section, bathouse

The atmosphere of the slope is conditioned by the length between the edge and the new ocean level. The new urban beach is separated by different condensations of steam. The first one related with the extrusion of the darkness. The internal and subterranean hot tubs in the node of force between the extruding and the opaque reflections below the wharf, this is a special node for contemplation, where the meditation of boiling water can be appreciated by a personal measure, the body in the corner , oppressed by heating and darkness.

Mapping site. Qualities of the Wellington Harbour. 1. The wind: the relationship of the wind and the site is treated it as material that cuts the high of the piers, (a space related to the high of the space of the entire basin) This line in section resumes the site as a triangle, that the wind projects to the harbour, is the one that the process of extruding it becomes a slope that gathers two different spaces. The first one related to the piers and the second to the surface of the ocean. 2. The movement o f the sails at the yacht club: constitutes one of the external facades of the site. This is integrated to the project as the high where the supermarket can arise, the last point of stretching the internal organisation of the building.
