All paintings are 2016 gouache with found paper collage 41 x 29 inches except the title piece, Archipelago, 2016-17, 60 x 40 inches Collage materials are all original found paper from pre-wrecked sources only. The holes in the Japanese wookblock prints were made by worms. The Hogarth engravings were recovered from a Houston home fire. The Gustav DorÊ illustrations were salvaged from an antique Swedish bible destroyed by a Galveston bookstore flood. Most of the maps came from an early 20th century German school atlas. Most of the body parts came from Gray’s Anatomy.
