ABOUT US Sinterex specialises in using 3D printing technology to produce customised dental and medical products. We have a wide range of 3D printing technologies including Powder Bed Fusion, Digital Light Projection, and Multi-Jet Printing. The materials which we print include Chrome Cobalt metal alloy, and also resins appropriate for denture bases, clear surgical guides, temporary crowns, orthodontic retainers, and working models. All printing processes and materials used are biocompatible, FDA approved, and certified for patient use. From our facility in Dubai we serve customers in the Middle East region and beyond.


SURGICAL GUIDE Sinterex now offers Dental Implantologists the very latest guided surgery technology. The patented Double Guide is made from 3D printed metal, meaning it is not only accurate, but also strong and sterilisable. With our Surgical Guide, users have complete control over drilling whilst retaining visibility and the freedom to cool and irrigate. Due to its patented adaptable contra-angle cap, the Guide is compatible with nearly all major implant brands.

WORKFLOW

IMPRESSION

CT SCAN

Take the patient impression using our special impression trays. Each tray has a lego brick attached to control for accuracy and to support the successful alignment of the digital files.

The patient continues to wear the special impression tray during the CT scan. Incorporating lego allows us to control for scan quality and also to correctly align all digital files.

PRODUCTION

Our dental experts then review the data and check that it is feasible for implants to be placed. We also check that the data is of good enough quality for guided surgery.

Next, your dental lab creates a wax-up for patient try-in. Once the wax-up is finalised we scan and incorporate this into the digital data set which is used for planning.

Using the CT data, impression data, and waxup, our experts then create a final plan for the surgery and share it with you for review and approval.

All guides are manufactured in the UAE using state-of-the-art metal 3D printing technology and bio-compatible, FDA approved, Chrome Cobalt metal alloy.

The guide is fixed to the patients teeth using clasps or screwed into jaw.

Using a punch drill we can avoid opening a flap. A 4mm or 5mm punch can be used depending on the diameter of the implant.

A flat drill is used to level the bone preventing deviation from the drill path.

The initial opening is made with a pilot drill.

Twist drills of various lengths are used with the variable guide sleeves controlling the drill depth.

A crestal drill is used according to the implant diameter.

SURGICAL TRAY Our surgical tray contains all of the special drills and instruments required for successful guided implantation.

To prevent excessive insertion torque the bone treader should be used with a max. 30 rpm.

LEGS The legs safely guide the contra-angle into the drilling template. The legs are suitable for the following W&H handpieces: WI-75 E/KM, WS-75 L, 75 L WS-G, WS-75.

CONTRA-ANGLE CAP The legs and spacers are secured to the contra-angle using a titanium cap.

SPACERS The spacers are used to adapt the depth of drilling and to ensure compatibility with any implant system or material.

GINGIVA PUNCH

FLAT DRILL

Using the gingiva punch it is possible to conduct flapless surgery and decrease the chance of patient complications. Punch drills come in sizes 3.0mm, 4.0mm, and 5.0mm.

The flat drill is used to create a wide and even platform on the bone, preventing deviation from the intended drill path. Flat drills come in sizes 2.8mm, 3.5mm, and 4.1mm.
