THE ABOVE MODEL CONSISTS OF BASIC FORMS: A CUBE, PYRAMID, CYLINDER, AND A SPHERE. COMPLEX FORM: RECTANGULAR PRISM. THE THEME WAS SELECT 4 SIMPLE FORMS AND 1 COMPLEX FORM AND PUT TOGETHER A WELL SUITED 3D COMPOSITION.

1

SENSE OF ARRANGEMENT 2D COMPOSITION OF BASIC SHAPES

2 SENSE OF ARRANGEMENT 2D COMPOSITION OF DOTS AND LINES THE CONCEPT HERE WAS TO PAINT AN ABSTRACT PAINTING THAT SYMBOLIZES AN ARCHITECT. THE ARCHITECT I CHOSE WAS HABIB RAHMAN. THIS PAINTING IS ABSTRACTED FROM RABINDRA BHAVAN. IT CONTAINS MUSLIM ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS, I.E., THE ARCH AND JALIS. HABIB RAHMAN HAS USED JALIS EXTENSIVELY OF THIS TYPE IN RABINDRA BHAVAN.

2D TANGRAM COMPOSITION

3

4 THE CONCEPT WAS TO SELECT AN INSECT AND TRANSFORM ITS FORM INTO A TEMPORARY STRUCTURE WHICH CAN BE DISMANTLED. I CHOSE THE GREEN DRAGONTAIL BUTTERFLY AND TRANSFORMED ITS FORM INTO AN ENTRANCE FEATURE WHICH CAN BE USED IN FUNCTIONS SUCH AS WEDDINGS, PARTIES IN LAWNS, ETC.

THE THEME IS PARIS FASHION WEEK. THE IDEA WAS TO CREATE A STORE WINDOW THAT REPRESENTS THE SELECTED THEME. THE RED BAND DEPICTS THE RED CARPET & FAMOUS BRAND LÓREAL HAS ITS LETTERS ON THE FLOOR.

THEORY OF COLOURS

‘VASTUVIDHAN’ COVER PAGE DESIGN FOR ANNUAL COLLEGE MAGAZINE. THEME - ‘PUNE, THEN & NOW’

2

THE CONCEPT WAS TO CUT OUT PIECES FROM A SQUARE BUT NOT SEPARATE THEM OUT FROM THE SQUARE, EXPANDING THE ORIGINAL SHAPE INTO AN INTERESTING CUT-OUT, HENCE CALLED ‘VISTAAR’. NEXT WAS TO ELEVATE THE ABOVE PLAN OF ‘VISTAAR’ AND MAKE AN OPEN-TO-SKY EXHIBITION SPACE.

Matheran is a tourist spot attracting foreigners and people from nearby metro cities. But as there are less number of tourists than required, the people of Matheran hence need to be exposed to the growing demand for tourism. The Spa and Meditation center is a program that would not only help in the growing tourist demands nut also hep the citizens of Matheran economically. A Center that links outsides to the insides with a peaceful state of mind.
