pened when I was visiting the town in which I grew up. I ran into two men that I had known well… they had been regulars at the restaurant I worked in previously. Interestingly, they BOTH said the SAME thing when I ran into them (and this was at different times, so they did not know what the other had said). They said, ‘Are you okay? What happened? The ‘spark’ has left your eyes!’ What a wakeup call! That was when I realized I had to make a change. Hence… my real journey began!” I noticed that Dr. Magill also dabbled in health and wellness, so I asked her to elaborate a bit on this. She stated, “I have always loved the health field! In fact, when I was in high school I ran cross country and track all four years. Then, when I graduated, I kept competing. I loved the outdoors which is why it was so crazy that I ended up sitting all the time in my work. When I decided to make a change, I remember walking down the boardwalk at the beach with my husband saying, ‘I wish I had a life where I helped other women to BE THEMSELVES again; to feel free, happy, healthy, to feel a connection with the person they see in the mirror. To love what they do, to have time to be free, and to feel good about their life…’ and four years later, that is what I’m doing with Envision This!” “I also earned three health coach certifications from Dr. Sears Wellness Institute to add to my formal education - just some extra ‘ah has!’ But my main passion is educating women to understand how to really engage their brain and find their focus - to manage their distractions, be less busy and more productive, while still increasing their free time and profits! Avoiding Entrepreneurial ADD and stop ‘spinning their wheels.’ Being truly free to live the life that they love! This is where true mental and physical health can be attained through intentional work-life balance.” “Let me elaborate on that just a bit… it’s so important to think about and really dig deep to discover what it is that truly makes your heart glad. What energizes your soul? Not to sound too ‘foo-foo,’ but if you are not connecting your daily activities with something that, as I like to say, ‘Feeds the Spirit,’

then you are starving your soul, and (as I was told a few years back), the spark in your eyes will die. That said, we can live a life of work that we’re good at and like, but how much better if we can work at something we love and are great at! When this happens, as others have said, we’re not really working anymore - we’re living!” When asked how all this has influenced her business as it stands today, Dr. Magill shared, “Besides 1:1 coaching, I

created a virtual program called Distraction-to-Action (D2A), which addresses all of the key factors I found vital to success for business owners. If we do not address these issues, our ‘wheel spinning’ can lead to overwhelm, frustration, reduced funds, reduced energy, and poor health. If unmanaged, all lead to burnout, which is where 90% of new businesses fail! I say… let’s be that 10% that succeeds! This philosophy is also what inspired my new #1 Amazon Best Seller, Harness Your Entrepreneurial ADD: How to Move from Distraction to Action in the Age of Information Overload to Supercharge Your Profits, ASIN: B0722N5RK4W. I’m so excited about this book! I also designed a blueprint called ‘The Optimal You’ formula, outlining steps I share in D2A which I offer for free on my website, www.EnvisionThisLife.com.”

When asked where she came up with the formula for D2A, Dr. Magill stated, “I have to admit, I learned the hard way. You know, it would seem that with my education and experience, it would be easy for me to see it happening to myself, but NOOOOOOO. I didn’t recognize it. Here I was, teaching and coaching these concepts, but when I put on my personal business ‘hat,’ I found myself spinning my wheels, not being productive, and circling back to the same place I had been before. Then, one day it hit me. Why was I not practicing the same steps I had been teaching? That’s when I created D2A. I also add in my educational research regarding brain science, emotional intelligence, ADHD, individual differences, health, and wellness. It’s what’s personally helped me to finally stay on track and succeed! So as the waitress came and cleared away our table, I followed that move with my final question. So what would you like to leave our readers with today? Elisa looked off to the hillside, tilted her head and smiled. Then she said, “Live life to be you. Be yourself. You never know what tomorrow will bring, so we can only live for today. Me - I’m a big picture person by nature. I like to think of the past and future and connect that to the present. I tend to analyze, theorize, and dream a lot! But I’ve had to learn to stop and smell the roses along the way. To take time out, not just look for free time to happen, but to take it to spend with family and friends, or to do what really makes us happy. That doesn’t mean I live my whole life like this or I’m suggesting others live this 24/7, but find balance in your schedule the best you can. Even if it’s 2 hours per week, take some time for you. Relax and breathe. At least remember to take care of you while you’re taking care of others. We only have one of us! In closing, I’d just say, believe in yourself. This is the first step in making our dreams a reality! Then dream it, believe it and when all is said and done… you can truly… Envision This! for yourself!”
