Su distancia aproximada al Sur de la capital del Estado por carretera es de 125 Km. uatusco es una hermosa población que se ubica en la llamada región de las altas montañas, en la zona central del estado de Veracruz. Son varios los arroyos que riegan las tierras de este municipio, la mayoría de ellos desembocan en el Río Jamapa. Al recorrer este sitio pudimos observar la belleza arquitectónica de varios de los edificios históricos que aquí se encuentran, como la Torre de Santa Cecilia, obra erigida a finales del siglo XVII y principios del XVIII, así como el templo de San Antonio de Padua.

uatusco is a beautiful town located in the called Region of the High Mountains, in the central zone of the state of Veracruz. There are many streams that share their water with the lands of this municipality, most of them flow into in the Jamapa river. Upon traveling through this place we could observe the architectural beauty of several historic buildings that are found here, like the Santa Cecilia’s tower, workset at ends of the XVII century, beginning of the XVIII century, as well as the temple of San Antonio de Padua.
