w4-37 cafe/ lounge The concept of the project is to renovate a Community College of Philadelphia classroom into a student cafe and lounge. The size of the room is to be kept intact with minor additions to the wall and roof. The active section consists of arange tables to increase the interaction of students. In the rear, the room has a passive area for student who want to ease their stress from school work with the help of skylight and 3-dimensional models on display stands.

philadelphia rowhouse/ 17th & carpenter The project requires the design of a family rowhouse in Philadelphia. It design include the accomodation of three large bedrooms with a bathroom on each of the second and third floor. The poject the design of these rowhouses unites the traditional phildelphia red brick ith modern materials, particularly metal panls that project in a alternating bays. third floor

The project is to design six studios spaces and a gallery for local Philadelphia as pen

artist. In addition to the gallery space, community gardens are place in the east

for local children to plant flowers and create their own garden. The studios have the capability to control the south sun via a special blind inside. Visitors have the chance to relax in the cafeteria located in the center and visit the gallery that is

transformable homeless shelter /franklin parkway A transformable shelter for homeless people in Philadelphia includes spaces for sleep and storage. It works as a resting place and as a garden for anyone to use during the day. At night a automatic mechanism activates and lift the shelter to full-sized house. The rooms are divided by the storage container. The shelter is inspired by poker chips.

dog house/sydney opera house This full-size dog house was inspired and based on the Sydney Opera House designed by Jørn Utzon located in Australia. The use of foam core copies the concrete material of the Opera House . The dog house is made to represent the idea of an island like the Opera House.

The project requires the re-design and renovation from a single family rowhouse to a two apartment rowhouse. The exterior of the house is to be kept intact. Its design includes the accomodation of modern materials, particularly the intergration of landscape architecure. The use of miniature waterfalls surrounds the back yard with symmetrical tile work and axial vegetation on the floor. living room

The intent is to design an new proposal plan for the Architecture, Design & Construction Department. The idea is to place the primary rooms on the north and east side to increase the space in the center. The design aspect consist of illusion floor tiles and geometrical shapes on the walls of the three main rooms,the drafting room, the lecture room and the computer lab. In proposal plan

the entrance, a gloss metal paneled wall illustrate the departamental name and different scaled rectangles shining indirect light to the room.

build a physical model from an

orthographic drawing designed by Robert Venturi. The floor plans and section is render using Adobe Illustrator. The render image uses the color that exists in the residential in the residentail house. It incorporates the the coordination of graphic design and the craftmanship of 3-Dimensional models.

The poster and postcard contain different layout to portray a illusion of continuity. The design help with the organization and hiearcarchy of words and pictures.

second national bank/robert n. dennis The project is to recreate Robert N. Dennis’ Second National Bank located in Philadelphia by using AutoCAD. The project includes the original fence pattern and the elements of Dennis’ design.

still life drawing/ charcoal The project involves various still life objects placed at random to integrate shadows and highlights and the unity of edges into the drawing using charcoal as a medium. The project required the use of Arches watercolor paper to reduce bleeding of dust particles.
