In Resource, JPGs size requirements vary from site to site. Below are standard size guidelines for item/product JPGs.

• Large product JPGs should be no larger than 300 x 400 pixels 400 px

• Small product JPGs can vary from site to site, but should be proportional to the Large JPGs. See your site specifications for size.

• Other JPGs used in the site as graphics can be sized according to your site’s design.

Using JPGs and Images Uploading/Managing Images/JPGs Uploading JPGs/Images To Site 1 Access File Manager — Click Files in the upper right corner, under Common Tasks.

1 2 In the File Manager, click “Upload”. 3 Find Image — On the Upload Content Files screen, click “Browse” to find the image on your computer. Select/highlight the image and click “Open”.

4 Upload & Save Image — Use the drop-down to select where in the Resource site to save the image. Click “Save File” to complete the upload. You will be redirected to the File Manager screen upon completion. NOTE: If uploading multiple images, create a .zip file of these images, upload the .zip file to the site, being sure to check “Decompress ZIP Files”. Files will be extracted and saved to Resource from the .zip file.

Using JPGs and Images Using Images/JPGs Linking Product Images To Products There are two options to link product images to products.

Option 1 Link images already in the site 1 Find the Product — Click Store => Products. 1

2 2 Find the product either by category or by searching for it using key words, product number, etc. and click “Edit”.

3 Select File Location/Directory — On the Item Information page, scroll down to “Image” (the large product JPG is the first option). Under link type, select “File (A File On Your Site)” and choose “File Location” from the drop-down menu to select a file directory/folder.

4 Link JPG — Use the File Name drop-down menu to find and select the image file for this item. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the small thumbnail image.

5 Save — Click “Update” at the bottom of the page to save your changes. NOTE: You can also find and edit a product by

4 Find Image — Click the “Upload New File” link to find the image on your computer. Once the search bar appears click “Select” to browse your computer for the file. Select/highlight the image and click “Open”.

5 Upload Image — The selected file will apear in the search bar. Click “Upload Selected File” to complete the upload. This now links the uploaded image to the product.

Using Images/JPGs in Text Modules 1 Open Text Editor — On the Text Module, click the arrow and select “Edit Text”.

2 Find Image to Insert — In the Text Editor, click “Image Manager” ( ) to browse images in the site. You can browse by using folders on the left of the pop-up window to find your image.

3 Insert Image — In the Image Manager,

click “Insert”.

4 Save — Click “Update” to save your changes. NOTE: For ease of use, it is recommended to upload all images to the site that you may be using in your updates. If you choose not to, you can browse to an image on your system using the tabs across the top of the pop-up window, click “Upload” and follow the steps.
