school4; Toronto ‘slut walk’ takes to city streets5; Slutwalk debated on Hannity: Tamara Holder & Rebecca St. James6. I totally agree with Pfc. Michael Sanguinetti, that any woman who wishes to reduce the likelihood of being raped, should not dress like a slut. Naturally a woman who has not dressed or acted like a slut towards any strange male cannot be blamed for any man’s decision to rape her. However, in my opinion, as a psychological adult woman, who is capable of taking personal responsibility for my thoughts, actions and intentions; if I made a conscious decision to walk around half-naked in public like a slut; and was honest about my intentions; the message I would be conveying is that I ‘want to be treated like a slut or prostitute’ and hence I am partially responsible for sending out a message inviting a man to believe that I want to be fucked. It appears to me that women who wish to walk around in public half-naked like sluts, do not want to take personal responsibility for their motives for doing so; and want to totally avoid the consequences of the ‘red-flag-to-any-possible-bull slut message they advertise’. A simple common sense rule of thumb: Don’t dress or act like a slut in the company of strange men; if you want such men to treat you with respect. Honourable Decent men who wish to treat all strange women with respect; will do so when such women are dressed modestly, with decency and propriety. Many will even do so, when women are dressed like sluts. Demanding all men treat a woman who dresses like a slut, with decency and propriety is similar to kicking a dog, and demanding he does not bite back. Common Myths About Castration7: MYTH: castration mutilates a man's body. FACT: An orchiectomy is a very simple surgical procedure in which a small incision is made to remove the testicles from the scrotum. The operation is far less invasive than a hysterectomy or much of the cosmetic surgery performed today. It typically is an outpatient procedure and replacing the testicles with prostheses makes the procedure virtually undetectable. MYTH: castration is cruel and unusual punishment. FACT: What could possibly be cruel about a treatment that allows a person to live a more normal life without the constant urge to molest children? It is unusual in the sense that it is the only permanent treatment that works with the offender. MYTH: Castration will not be any more effective than conventional counseling. FACT: European research over the past 30 years shows that in every single clinical study, the re-offender rate drops drastically to lo less than 5% for those who receive the treatment. It is after the surgery has been completed that counseling will be needed in order to aid the offender during the transition of changing lifestyles. Conventional counseling can be effective in conjunction with castration. MYTH: Castration will only make the offender more violent by using other methods to molest. FACT: Another positive aspect of castration is that it reduces not only the sexual impulse, but all aggressive traits in a person. A 1991 Czechoslovakian study of 84 castrated sex

offenders revealed that only 3 men (out of 84) committed another sex offense after castration, and none were of an aggressive character. A Danish study in the 1960s that followed 900 castrated sex offenders found that the recidivism rate dropped to 2.2%, and, similarly, none of these offenses were of an aggressive character. MYTH: Castration is racist punishment. FACT: Of the 11,000 identified sex offenders in Texas prisons, 45% are white; 24% are African-American and 30% are hispanic. MYTH: The problem is between the ears, not between the thighs. FACT: This unsupported opinion is based on the supposition that rape is all about power, domination and control without any sexual component. The clinical studies show that rape is a combination of power, domination and control along with a strong sexual impulse. It shouldn't really matter which theory of rape is ascribed to. What is much more important is finding treatment that will protect our children. MYTH: A civilized society cannot permit this barbaric treatment (castration). FACT: A civilized society, if we dare call ourselves that, cannot permit the numbers of rapes that occur. A civilized society must be open to all treatments of sex offenders in order to change the unconscionable odds we have given to the innocent among us.
Consequences of Castrating (Neutering) Dogs8: One of the most extensive studies on the effects of canid castration was carried out by Ben Hart at the University of California, and these are his fascinating statistics: On the following BEHAVIOURS : Roaming Reduced in 90% of cases:

Women as Sex Objects (Scientific American9; 17 February 2009)
A new study presented at the recent American Association for the Advancement of Science meeting in Chicago shows that when men see photos of scantily clad women their brain registers the women as objects to be acted on. Christie Nicholson reports Do men objectify women? Well some say there may be a tendency, since there’s a booming business in pornography. But to answer the how, when and why men objectify women requires some science. Princeton psychologist Susan Fiske presented findings from a new study this past Sunday, at the American Association for the Advancement of Science annual meeting in Chicago, where she and her colleagues compared, "...heterosexual men’s perceptions of scantily clad women, scantily clad men, and fully clothed men and women." And what they found is the 21 male subjects had the best memory for photos of sexy bikiniclad women. No surprise. Then they had the men look at the photos while their brains were scanned and what she found was that, "...this memory correlated with activation in part of the brain that is a pre-motor, having intentions to act on something, so it was as if they immediately thought about how they might act on these bodies." Fiske explained that the areas, the premotor cortex and posterior middle temporal gyrus, typically light up when one anticipates using tools, like a screwdriver. "I’m not saying that they literally think these photographs of women are photographs of tools per se, or photographs of non-humans, but what the brain imaging data allow us to do is to look at it as scientific metaphor. That is, they are reacting to these photographs as people react to objects." Fisk also tested the men for levels of sexism and found a surprising effect those who scored high on this test, "...the hostile sexists were likely to deactivate the part of the brain that thinks about other people's intentions. The lack of activation of this social cognition area is really odd, because it hardly ever happens. It’s a very reliable effect, that the medial prefrontal cortex comes online when people think about other people, see pictures of them, imagine other people." "Normally when you examine social cognition, people’s aim is to figure out what the other person is thinking and intending. And we see in these data really no evidence of that. So the deactivation of medial prefrontal cortex to these pictures is really kind of shocking." To be sure this is a preliminary study, and Fiske intends to follow up with a larger sample, but nonetheless she concludes, "...these findings are all consistent with the idea that they are responding to these photographs as if they are responding to objects and not to people with independent agency." Fiske suggested that if there are sexualized pictures of women in the workplace, there may be a spillover effect, perhaps influencing the way people perceive female colleagues.
Do Men Want to Rape? Do Women Want to Be Raped? (Psychology Today10; by Ogi Ogas, Ph.D., and Sai Gaddam, Ph.D.) In women's erotica, there is similar ingenuity in the portrayal of dominance and submission-arguably even more than in men's, though it's a bit like comparing apples and oranges since men like images and women like stories. Nevertheless, even a cursory review of fan fiction, romance, erotic romance, slash, and female-authored erotica reveals a kaleidoscopic array of dom and sub tropes, from the blizzard of spanking in Anne Rice's Beauty novels to the violent rapes of romance novel Stormfire to sexual humiliation and outright sadism in darkfic. Many women have dark fantasies, indeed: one woman we interviewed prefers erotic fanfic where Johnny Depp is sexually molested and brutalized. So the short answer is that there are as many manifestations of the dominance and submission cues in both men and women as there are variations of desserts.
However, we'll go a little further than most scientists. The usual position of academic researchers is that female coercion fantasies involve handsome, attractive strangers who aggressively seduce women in a non-violent way, rather than rape them. Some women certainly have these fantasies. But you don't have to look far on the Internet to find much darker and more violent female fantasies, involving ugly truckers, brutal sex, gang rape, even mutilation. In the Harry Potter fan fiction I read, Draco in particular always seemed to be raping girls. Tracie Egan, who we used in our epigraph, narrates how she paid a male gigalo to enact a forceful rape. During our research, we also encountered women who said they enjoyed role-playing rape—not aggressive seduction. So far, academic politics have prevented sexologists from taking an honest look at the true variety of women's fantasies. All of this doesn't imply that women genuinely want to be raped, of course. As psychologist Meredith Chivers says, "Arousal is not consent." We think one reason (among several) that male-male romances have become so popular among women is that it's much easier for a woman to enjoy the dom-sub relationship if there's not a woman involved. As one woman wrote, "I can read and am very fond of [dominant and submissive roles] between two male characters, whereas a male-domfemale-sub heterosexual pairing has to be very specifically written for it not to be upsetting for me. The most seemingly-innocuous things, stuff that's normal enough in such fiction not to merit a warning, will turn it in my head from consensual to rape and/or abuse of power, and the male character from a desirable lover into a threatening tormentor." But here's something else worth considering—an interesting double standard in sex research. Researchers are in emphatic agreement that female sexual fantasies of rape do not under any circumstances imply that they actually want to be raped. (No argument from us.) On the other hand, what about male sexual fantasies of raping women? In the literature these have long been treated as signs of pathology and as leading indicators of criminal intent. There's even research on how to eliminate male sexual fantasies of rape (not much effective research, however).
Consequently my curiosity regarding your position to: (I) the allegation in Psychology Today that Politically Correct Academic politics has prevented sexologists from taking an honest look at the true variety of women's fantasies; including the double standard in Sex Research that concludes that Female Sexual Fantasies of Rape do not under any circumstances imply they actually want to be raped; but male sexual fantasies of rape are treated as signs of pathology and as leading indicators of criminal intent; (II) Prof. Susan Fiske’s Princeton Univ. study, which found that when men see photo’s of half-naked women, their brain registers the women as sex objects to be acted upon; (III) If there is a difference in instinctual-sexualpredatory behaviour between a bull and ox; stallion and gelding; man and eunuch: Should Matadors who fly ‘red please-fuck-me-slut flags’ before bulls; be supported when they claim victimhood innocence for testosterone enraged bulls over-responding to their ‘red pleasefuck-me-slut flags’?
