My solution was to make the art of butchering appetizing to a modern market. The design serves up mouth– watering recipes, a handy knife guide and a breakdown of sustainable quality meat cuts. Meat tastes better when you know where it comes from.

Incarceration is part of the American identity. More than one out of every 100 Americans is behind bars. The US has the largest prison population in the world, both in terms of the actual number of inmates and as a percentage of the total population.

COURSE VISUAL SYSTEMS

My solution was to generate a conversation piece about the enormous prison problem plaguing the US led by a for profit prison system. It features the top twenty–five states with the highest average prison population and cost per inmate from a global view.

HOW TO PLAY Getting on the board The player who has the next birthday goes first. A player from the opposing team draws a card from the deck for the player to proceed. To begin building a mountain you must collect a base color stone to start stacking.

On Your Turn The opposing player draws a card from the deck and reveals the color of the card that has been selected. The opposing player recites the question on the card, giving the player an opportunity to either answer the trivia question, swap mountains on a wild card, or pass the color selection onto the next player in place of their next draw. Once you’re on the board with a base color stone, you can continue to collect additional stone colors as you proceed through the game. If the trivia question is answered correctly, the card is awarded to the player to use in building a mountain of their choice. Only one team can build on a mountain at a time. If the trivia question is answered incorrectly, the card will be placed back in the deck for a future draw and your turn is complete.

Winning To win you must be the first to build a complete mountain from the bottom up. This might seem like a simple task but this game can take an interesting twist with strategically placed wild cards that can throw you off balance.

Women need to plan for their financial futures differently than men do. Contrasting life events present themselves, such as women living longer then men, earning less and saving less, interruptions in career opportunities and so many more variables.

My solution was to create a female– focused financial planning application that automatically provides smart recommendations to create individual saving and investment strategies for women. The mission is to help women effectively optimize their money.
