HELLO I’M JORDAN I am a British Industrial Designer located in Stockholm, with plans to move back to the UK in March. Over the past year, I have had the privilege of working at Electrolux and executing iconic, category-defining designs and now I am looking for a full time job in the UK. My experience covers the spectrum of the product development process: from conversing big-picture business initiatives, to creating compelling designs, through resolving cosmetic and mechanical details within products. I am an innovative thinker in both functionality and aesthetics, with a keen eye for detail. I have an in depth knowledge of being able to take products from design to manufacture and promotion, I am extremely keen to learn more and develop my skills in business I can progress in. I am also the recent Winner of the International Electrolux Design Lab competition 2015, as well as collabarating with other huge industry names such as Abdoolally Ebrahim Group, Ferno and Camelot.

Research and feedback showed the device at the core of most services problems was the Spinal Board. WHAT IS A SPINAL BOARD? A Spinal board is a tool used in pre-hospital care, the initial care given to victims of an incident deemed potentially/ definatly injured. It is capable of offering a versatile approach towards extrication or manouvering a patient increasing both staff efficiency on site and patient safety.

BLOOM Bloom is a kettle that utilizes steam an otherwise wasted resource. The integration of three pods re-puposes the steam to carry out multiple functions. Based on the real needs of children with learning difficulties, Bloom bridges the gap between physical and digital education, Creating a social and fun learning environment, whilst simultaniously limiting potential harm to enable independency and build confidence.

THE PODS APPLICATION Bloom is accomponied with an application that provides relevamt tasks and lessons to each pod. These lessons range from the core tasks to relevant subjects that can be shown through the application or the pod. Also these can be carried out through numerous sensory methods that engage the user most effectiveley.


BLOOM Bloom is the Electrolux Design Lab Winner 2015 designed by me, Jordan Martin. Electrolux Design Lab 2015 was an international competition that had over 1500 entries the competition. The 6 finalist were required to produce a 6 page presentation and speech that would be put across to a judging panel and an audience of 250 proffesionals in various fields. All finalist were flown out to Helsinki to present there products and presentations, the presentation was also streamed live internationally. THIS IS ACUARO The Acuaro bicycle was a self appointed 48 hour project, designed for inner-city travel, with style. The bicycle offers users an aesthetically engaging product, that embodies simplicity, style and class. It’s unique aluminium frame is designed to absorb minor road impacts for increreased comfort. The material and parts create for a lightweight and easy to manouvere product. The Acuaro is the embodiment of style and function.

ACUARO City bikes are becomming a fast growing industry, urbanised areas and people who want to bypass major congestion in cities and eliminate fuel costs, do so through purchasing and using a Bicycle for there commutes. Hybrid bikes capabilities and ability to travel on most terrains well also make it appealling for the beginning cyclist.

Adjustable points allows riders to adjust there set up for both either comfort or sport, aswel as ensure the design is ergonomically correct to them.
