Welcome I am happy to have you here viewing my proposal.

Int

Cycling is a rapidly growing venue in the United States, and world-wide. Everywhere you look, people are learning the enjoyment of the bicycle, or rediscovering it in an effort to regain a healthy lifestyle. As an athlete, my daily focus is largely based on training and nutrition, and in general, feeling great and helping others to do the same!

The core values my program represents are to live a driven, purposeful, and healthy life, encourage others to join in, and while accomplishing those goals, race as much as possible to promote awareness of healthy living, and also awareness of the brands I represent. Over the past few years I have not just focused on racing, but also on broadening the reach of the sport in the communities where I live and race. I’ve organized countless school visits, dozens of clinics and 1-day coaching programs, and have volunteered many hours to young people; all in the hopes of promoting a fun and healthy lifestyle among children and young adults. One of my main focuses has been to increase participation among the young female population especially, as female racers continue to be a minority and underserved population in the sport of cycling. As a way to help pay it forward in the sport, I have spent recent years coaching the Phillips Academy Cycling Team, and this year, the Pingree School Mountain Bike Team. From these programs, I helped to start a junior development program through my team, Craft Factory Racing. This year, the team consisted of two female junior athletes and one male junior athlete, and my hope is to expand the program in coming years. Most recently, I assisted one of our development riders in hosting her own mountain bike clinic for girls ages 9-14. It was an incredible experience helping her to pass on her enthusiasm in the sport to others in her region. These projects continue to be a focal point for my 2017 season. Attached you will find information on my sponsorship goals and sponsor relations, as well as a calendar of events for the 2017 mountain bike season. Please Join me in 2017, and into the future as I continue my efforts to grow and develop the sport of mountain biking and cycling in general!

Partnership

I am looking to form multi-year relationships with sponsors on several levels. I am commited to; - Marketing your company or product through sponsor logos which will be placed on my clothing and website as well as in and around my set up at races and other events. Kits will be worn at all race events, and leisure clothing with team name and sponsor logos will also be worn at all public relations opportunities. - Managing word of mouth within a specific target market. I love to make referrals and speak well of my sponsors. I realize that this is where most of the value lies for my supporters, and I consider myself to be an avid ambassador for my sponsor’s products, events and promotions. - Promoting your business through social media. Race results and functions including coaching, clinics, and outreach programs provide excellent content for Twitter, Instagram and Facebook updates, as well as personal blog posts. - Introducing a new generation of bike riders and racers to your products. One of my favorite ways to give back to my community is through youth outreach. I coach three youth teams and also teach weekly clinics throughout the fall for junior riders and racers. Opportunities exist to demonstrate your product, discuss your service, and distribute your marketing materials to young athletes and their parents.
