Boys Basketball

Girls Basketball

Football

Team Camp Learn basic terminology, fundamentals, and schemes for the upcoming season. July 7 - 11, 7 - 9 a.m. Incoming 9 - 12 graders. $50 includes T-shirt. Trinity field. Coach: Jared McDaniel.

Volleyball Volleyball Camp June 24 - 26, 3 - 5 p.m., at Trinity. Incoming 9 - 12 grade players. $60 includes T-shirt. Must register by June 17 to get free T-shirt. Volleyball Open Gym Wednesdays, May 28 - July 16, 3 – 4:30 p.m. (No practice June 11 or July 2.) Incoming 9 - 12 grade players. No cost. Coach: Marie Goscha. Voice or Piano

Spend the summer taking voice or piano lessons. Instructor: Michelle Henderson. One-on-one lessons. By appointment. $70/month includes four 30-minute sessions.

Cooking Class

Learn to make easy meals and delicious desserts! 5th - 12th grade boys and girls (max 12 students). July 28 - 31, 9 - 11 a.m. $75 (includes supplies). Instructor: Sheryl Deutsch.

Cake Decorating

Learn the basics of professional cake decorating. Make flowers and learn airbrush techniques. Instructors: Sheryl Deutsch & Ali Walton. 7th - 12th grade boys and girls. (Max 12 students). July 21 - 24, 9 - 11 a.m. $90 (includes decorator kit for student to keep).

Intro to Coding

Learn basic computer programming. Learn to animate objects and make cartoons! Instructor: Barbara Fox. 7th - 12th grade. June 16 - 19, 10 - 11 a.m. $40.

How to Build a Computer

Learn what each part of a computer does and what it costs, and get handson experience assembling a computer

from scratch. 6th - 12th grade. June 3 - 4, 9 a.m. - noon. $50. Instructor: Graham Wolf.

Scrapbooking

Bring a few of your favorite photos, and we’ll make scrapbook pages! Use our templates, papers, stickers, fancy scissors, Cricut machine, and more! 5th grade - adults, Tuesday - Wednesday, July 29 - 30, 6:30 - 8 p.m. $10. Instructor: Barbara Fox.

Black Scratchboard

A dramatic, photographic-like, black and white image is created with this technique. Instructor: Kathi Staton 5th - 9th grades (max 10 students, minimum 5). Mondays and Wednesdays, June 2, 4, 9, and 11. 10 - 11 a.m. $35 (All materials provided.)

Art - Human Figure Study

Graphite and eraser techniques are used to draw the (modest) human figure. Instructor: Kathi Staton. 6th gradeadult (max 10 students, minimum 5) Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 3, 5, 10, and 12. 1 - 2 p.m. $35 (All materials provided).

Car Care & Tire Changing

There are some things everyone should know before they leave high school, and basic car care is one of them. Mark Shelly will teach you how to inspect your car. Everybody who brings a car will have the opportunity to change a tire. Tuesday and Thursday evening, May 20 and 22. 6:30 - 9 p.m., at the Trinity parking lot. Personal appointments can be made at the end of class to learn how to change oil and filters. Grades 9 - adult. $10.

Summer Jazz Band

Jazz is hot, and even hotter in the summer! Incoming 9 - 12 and graduating seniors. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, July 15 – 31. 12:45 to 2 p.m. The session will end with a performance for parents July 31 (tentative). Guest artists to attend and assist. T-shirt included. $75. Brass Lessons

Private trumpet, trombone, baritone, and tuba lessons. By appointment. $70 per month includes four 30-minute lessons. Incoming 9 - 12 and graduating seniors. Ryan Royle, instructor.

Algebra 1 Prep Class

This class is encouraged for students planning to take Algebra I for the 2014-2015 school year. The focus will be gaining a deeper understanding of important Algebra I concepts including fractions, order of operations, charts/graphs, input/output function tables, distributive property, solving linear equations, multiplying binomial expressions (FOIL) and factoring. Students are expected to take notes and complete in-class assignments. Paper, pencils, a folder and a calculator should be brought to class each day. Cost: $145. July 28 - August 8, 9:30 a.m. - noon. Instructor: John Hendley.

Algebra Bridge Class

This class is for the student who has completed Algebra 1 and wants to reinforce those skills before entering Geometry or Algebra 2. There will be particular emphasis on the second semester Algebra 1 concepts that typically cause students difficulty. Items covered will include the following: solving and rearranging equations, slope, writing/graphing equations of lines, solving systems of equations, simplifying exponents, multiplying binomials (FOIL), reducing radical expressions and factoring. Students are expected to take notes, work on in-class assignments and should also be prepared to complete some assignments at home. Paper, pencils, a folder and a calculator should be brought to class each day. Cost: $135. May 27 - June 6, 9:30 a.m. noon. Instructor: John Hendley.

Crash Course for the ACT

Get an extra boost on the ACT from this class. Increasing your score by a few points can result in thousands of dollars in scholarships! Incoming 9th-12th grade students. Mondays and Wednesdays, July 21 - 30, 2:30 - 4 p.m. $45. Instructor: Kyle Burris.

College Planning

Take the stress out of senior year by working ahead this summer. During this course, students will hear about the application process from a panel of college admission representatives, complete the common application and one or two other college applications of choice, receive both peer and professional edits on an essay and resume, complete college search activities and participate in a mock admission/scholarship interview. July 22 – 24, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Incoming seniors only. $50. Instructor: Shelly Small.

Class for high school credit PE/Health

Learn the concepts and play of team sports. Also, gain an understanding of diet, major bones and muscles, and first aid training. Modest shorts, a Trinity T-shirt, and tennis shoes are required dress. $475. Credit earned: 1. If more than one day is missed, no credit will be earned. Session 1: Mondays - Thursdays, June 2 - 19, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. (lunch 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.) There will be a make-up day on Friday, June 20. Instructor: James Jost. Session 2: Mondays - Thursdays, July 14 - 31, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. (lunch 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.) There will be a make-up day on Friday, August 1. Instructor: Mackenzie Underwood.
