This placement primarily involved physical model-making, including 3D printed and wooden models, amended revit CAD models and construction detailing, and conceptual imagery. I also worked in with a team on site to develop spatial design concepts, and gained cost, time and practice management skills. Working in retail as a sales assistant has provided me with real training and a pure understanding of the need for client or customer relations, which has helped me to gain those vital, confident personal skills. I usually worked between 6 and 30 hours per week around my school holidays, evenings and weekends.

I AM HIGHLY FLUENT IN MANY CAD PACKAGES, INCLUDING: AUTOCAD, SKETCHUP, ARTLANTIS, ARCHICAD, REVIT, ALL ADOBE SOFTWARE, OFFICE, BASIC HTML AND CSS CODING, aND LARGE FORMAT PRINTING. ASIDE FROM EXCELLING IN CAD WORK, I HAVE DEVELOPED A GREAT MANUAL DRAWING SKILL SET; PARTICULARLY ENJOYING SKETCHING WITH MARKERS, WATERCOLOURING, AND PRESENTING USING MIXED MEDIA. i also consider the phyical modelling process highly important for design and presentation: including laser cutting, 3d printing, and also enjoying the practice of furniture building. I AM A CURRENT RIBA MEMBER, AND ENJOY READING ABOUT ARCHITECTURE IN AS MANY JOURNALS AND BOOKS AS I CAN, and travel regularly to places such as berlin, copenhagen, amsterdam, barcelona and rome.
