Space Place The team is responsible for designing a street sized version of the solar system with didactic elements to heighten the experience for visitors in Space Place.

House and Home Distinguishing between the house as the physical dwelling that people need to survive and the home as the emotional element of the house that makes it their own retreat and comfort.

Density and Diversity Exploring the comparison of Rowhouses and Apartments, two common urban housing types, on the same 96’ by 64’ site with its functions and structure.

City Block With the final products from the Density vs. Diversity project, each team uses elements from them to create a city block to be a part of a larger site composed of the blocks from each group.

Artist Block With a partner, a space exploration in Union Square, Baltimore and a site within it is done to see what possibilities of designs there are for Townhouse/Apartment Hybrids. Architecture and Environmental Design - May 2018 - Jonathan Melgarejo

Artscape2016: Space Place My focus was placed on Fabrication. My responsibilities consisted of sewing together the pieces for the inflatables and cutting out tringle pieces of fabric to be sewn. I also assisted in Educational Development with the silkscreen process for the Space Place T-shirts.

City Block: Generative Design

with Stephen Varella, David Moore, and Nathaniel Mitchell

My Apartment building from the previous project was used for the city block site. We wanted the main focus on commercial and relaxation. It is attempted with a cafe and organic seating area for people working in the shopping center next to our block.

Urban Hybrids: Artist Block

with Stephen Varella

Artist Block is elevated to allow the space for parking below and communal space above. A studio space is included for the artists to work away from their home. It creates opportunities for moments of interaction to occur through the notion of communal networking.
