Evolution of Games Some games get so popular when they are made that they continue to be played long time after that, they set the standards for all the other gaming companies that want to succeed in selling their products. The problem with this that the new games come and take their place with a better graphics and a better storyline. That’s why game companies make the same games they made but they try to satisfy the market and put all the elements that modern gaming requires. When this kind of games are made they basically sell themselves. One of the reasons is that many people will buy them just to revive their childhood. The evolution of these games is very cool thing to see, at least for gamers and people that work with it, it gives them inspiration. My favorite game when I was a kid was Super Mario. And whenever I see a that kind of game it reminds me of the time when I was just a child and I didn’t have to worry about anything. I am sure that a lot of people feel like this. There are those kind of people that get so dedicated to a game that they will buy every sequel the day they come out. Let’s look at some games evolving over time. Let’s start with the most favorite game of my childhood Super Mario brothers. This is a platform video game relased by Nintendo in 1985. It’s fun to see that Super Mario games are being made even today. After 25 years. Here is the a picture to compare how much it evolved. Character in these games are very likable and that’s why the company decided to make other games with them. Not the usual adventure stuff. They made games like Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, Mario golf and some others. I can say that these games wouldn’t sell so good if they invented new characters, anonymous to the world. . The other game that I Want to write about is called the Legend of Zelda. The game was first released in 1986. One sequel of this game is still counted as one of best games of all time even though it was released in 1998. The game is called Legend of Zelda and the best sequel Ocarina of Time today. It was also released by Nintendo. The last game in these series is called the Skyward Sword and it was released in 2011. The Elder scrolls, this game was released in 1994. The first game was called The Elder Scrolls – Arena. After this one four of this game more sequels came out. The latest was made in 2012 and the sequel’s name is Skyrim. This game has achieved great success right after it came out. It was the best selling game att that time. That shows the fans that only waited it for to come out. They didn’t even have the time to look at the critics, they bought it right away. Guess what company made it? No, it’s not Nintendo. It is the company named Bethesda Softworks. They are also know for the game Fallout. People always want to go back to something they know and that’s why the sequels of old games that made the standards always achieve great success when they come out. They sometimes get bashed by the critics because the expectations are too high. It is quite like the films. If you watch a mind-blowing movie you would expect the other part to deserve the same title as the first.

Games are fun but for how long? Now days all games looks alike. I know that when all ideas has been taken its hard to start something new and fresh. But almost All FPS (First person shooter) games are alike. In my eyes its all the same to be honest I don’t know why some one would spend 550 kr on a game that look just alike the game they just played and has same multiplayer mode. They usually use the argument Its my money, my time I decide what to do with it. That’s when I start to think why. Why would you spend your money on it when i just told you it’s almost the same as the other game you just played? Then again some people play games just to relax or have time off the world. In real life they might not be so happy due to their social status. Again this is just a statement. And I think its pretty bad how younger and younger kids start to play the game. They are playing online games way to early. And the bad thing about that is. They might speak to wrong people because people tend to yell when they are dying in game. And when for example a kid I on the chat listening to them the kid might build up this defense around him. Then every time someone talks to him he might be defensive and won’t be able to relax as he could. To be honest I’m one of the gamers I like to spend the most of my time playing, and even if I like to go out and play I would prefer to stay home playing. Depending on what mood I’m in. But I think it’s strange that people would prefer you to go out and play when you can stay inside and have more fun playing. I know that it’s better for your health to be outside playing. And its bad for you back sitting on the computer. But even so. If I’m out playing and get some serious injury, I would not be healthy. Risk for injuries are higher when you’re out playing then inside playing. And I’m my opinion injuries are not health for your body. But staying inside playing games is really bad for you to. Not only do you get less social but you also get worse sight. And that’s because staring at the screen all day is not good for you eyes. And you get back injuries and this will affect your whole life. By having a broken back you might end up in wheelchair. And the question is do you want to take that risk?

The  best  Free  2  Play  game.     There  are  countless  Free  to  play  games  out  there  but  there  is  game  that  a  the  little  extra   thing  that  in  my  opinion  makes  it  better  than  all  the  other  games  and  that  game  is   League  of  legends  most  commonly  abriviated  as  Lol.     League of Legends is a team-based online computer game inspired by Defense of the Ancients. The players are divided into teams of either three or five players, depending on which of the three existing game maps are chosen. Each team starts on opposite sides of the map, near a so-called "Nexus". A match is won when the opposing team's Nexus is destroyed or when the other team gives up. To succeed in destroying a Nexus, the teams must fight their way through a host of gun turrets "Turrets". During the game, it's up to players to destroy as many of theopposing team's "Champions" (game characters) and "Minions" (small NPCsthat depart regularly from the base and attack the opposing team) and destroy neutral monsters (some of these monsters gives special powers when they die called ”Buffs”) to go up in level. The players start at level 1 at the beginning of the match and are able to get up to level 18. During the game you can also buy equipment and ”Items" that makes the player's game character stronger, these items are purchased with gold that is gained overtime and additional gold is gained as the player kills Minions or Champions.

The player takes the League of Legends role of a Summoner that is persistent across all games played. A summoner is able to influence the game in several ways in addition to the selected game character's powers. Through its runebook and his skill tree, a summoner passively improve game character's characteristics, and by choosing two additional abilities (Summoner spells) to bring in a match, a summoner can significantly alter the outcome of battles. And the thing that differs from most free too play games, and the reason i rank it the best free to play game is the fact that League of Legends contains material that can be unlocked as you play. Everything that affects the actual game is available by playing the game, Of note is that the League of Legends offers a lot of extra material through micro transactions, mostly clothing to the game's champions (Game Characters) and "boosts" that allows the player to unlock the material att a quicker rate than usual. micro transactionallows a paying players unlock the material faster but gives, unlike many other games with similar business model, there is no lasting benefit. League of Legends belongs to a game genre called MOBA(Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) along with the games Dota 2(Defence of The ancients 2) and HON (Heroes of Newerth) and what all these games have in common is that they all originate from the same game, Defence of the ancients or just Dota, Dota is actually just an inofficial map for the game Warcraft III. And the developers of Dota Split up into different companys that made Lol, hon and dota2.
