About Barrington Golf Club Barrington Golf Club was established in 1991. The Wolstein Group had overseen the initial maturation of Barrington including the surrounding residential community, Barrington Estates. The Clubhouse officially opened in 1994. By 2002 Members took ownership control until Barrington’s wellreceived reputation grabbed the attention of a prominent local entrepreneur, Monte Ahuja. In 2012, led by Ahuja, Barrington Golf Enterprises, LLC enthusiastically assumed ownership of Barrington Golf Club. Under Monte Ahuja’s direction Barrington has been transformed through service excellence, Clubhouse and Racquet Club enhancements, and golf course improvements. Barrington offers a wide range of membership options including golf, social and dining. Members can enjoy our championship Signature Jack Nicklaus golf course, six tennis courts, swimming facility, fitness classes, fine dining and much more. Many residents of Barrington Estates enjoy the Barrington lifestyle but you don’t have to live here to enjoy the many amenities the Club offers. Members come from all over Northeast Ohio and are made up of a very diverse group of friendly and fun loving individuals. They range from young families to retirees. Our calendar is full of events for all ages and interests. The course layout at Barrington Golf Club is one of the best and very friendly to players of all levels. With vast wide fairways and generous landing areas, you don’t have to be perfect with your tee shot to have an open 2nd shot to the green. A par 72, Barrington has a great mix of holes that you won’t get tired of playing on a daily basis. The par 3’s require a good tee shot to set yourself for a par or birdie. The par 4’s are very fair and have a variety of left to right and right to left doglegs that don’t favor one type of player. Our par 5’s are some of the best around with regards to their layout. It doesn’t matter if your tee shot is long enough, these holes offer a great deal of risk and reward on your second or third shot. Be careful though, if you take the risk and don’t succeed, a big number on the scorecard awaits you.
