Gustavian Tables These very attractive, 18th century, half-round tables are painted in the Gustavian manner. They can be joined to make a circular table 1160mm in diameter.


English Military Chest A two-part, early 19th century military chest of drawers of small, pleasing proportions.


Pair of French Empire Chairs A fantastic pair of French Empire chairs, in mahogany with gilt wood finishing. Circa 1820.


Secretaire au Abbatant Louis Philippe secretaire au abbatant in a black paint finish. When closed, the piece resembles a tall chest of drawers. The fall opens to reveal a leather-covered writing tablet.


Burgundian Wine Table A large and beautifully coloured, Burgundian, tilt-topped wine table.


Louis XV Painted Commode This hard-to-find 19th century, French, serpentine-fronted chest with cabriole legs is designed in the manner of a bow(and arrow). It is painted in the Gustavian style.


Guéridon A French guéridon table with charcoal-grey marble top. These French Empire mahogany guéridons (a round centre table) are very rare and valuable.


French Chestnut Dresser Base Chestnut dresser-base with three drawers over three doors. Perfect colour and patina. Circa 1800.


Louis XlV Chairs A pair of high-backed classic Louis XlV armchairs, with triple-ribbed stretcher bases and acanthus-leaf carving on the scrolled arms.


English Painted Bureau An 18th century bureau painted in the Italian manner. 3 foot 6 inches wide and high.

English Period Oak Chest of Drawers A George lll chest with two short drawers over three long drawers on bracket feet. Other features include two brass pulls fitted to a green baize brushing slide, lovely brass key escutcheons and non-pierced, plate-backed swan neck handles.

French Painted Louis XVl Console A stretcher-based console table with exceptional paint finish. The faux marble top has a symmetrical star pattern. The wonderful carving and egg-and-dart mouldings in the console's base make it a centre piece.
