Equality and Diversity Policy Statement John Rowan & Partners is committed to the principle of equal opportunities in employment and is opposed to any form of less favourable treatment or financial reward through direct, indirect, associative discrimination, discrimination by perception, harassment, victimisation to employees or job applicants on the grounds of age, race, religion or beliefs, political opinions, creed, colour, ethnic origin, nationality, national origins, marital, civil partnership, parental status, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation or disability. The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all staff are treated and treat others with dignity and respect, free from discrimination, victimisation, harassment and bullying. All staff should take the time to ensure they understand what types of behaviour are unacceptable under this policy. This policy covers incidents which occur both in and out of the workplace, such as on business trips or at events or work-related social functions. It covers bullying and harassment by staff and also by third parties such as customers or visitors to our premises. In particular we operate in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
