ATHENAEUM Fall 2015

Understanding how a building fits into the surrounding context is crucial to design. This project starts with each student experimenting with spatial forms, then learning how these forms are influenced by its surroundings, and finally developing the inside with the same information while also considering a list of programs that define a building as an Athenaeum.

ROWING CLUB Summer 2016

Throughout the semester, we examine this project through a series of lenses. Through these lenses, we experiment with different spatial qualities, materials, program, and site information. Each scale eventually manifests a core architectural idea that can be decided to incorporate into the final design of a rowing club complex.

At a slightly larger scale, we now consider the form of a potential structure if it were to be created from identical units.

A series of terraces form the composition of a boating facility that includes storage, a boat launch, and multiple areas of public access for future riverside events.

Field House

Incorporating a levee that runs through the site, a field house is designed to rest against the side opposite to the river. It then utilizes terraces to encourage circulation over both sides of the levee.

RAW MKT Lawrence Group Architects Fall 2016

Designed to incorporate both dining and quick market shopping, The RAW MKT offers fresh poke to guests seeking a place to sit down and enjoy high quality raw fish or ones just needing something quick on the go. Classic subway tiles and brass fixtures give a rustic, aged look while custom wooden shelves and stone counter tops are reminiscent to a fresh fish market down by the water.

WARBY PARKER Lawrence Group Architects Fall 2016

Assisted the design team in the development of three new Warby Parker stores located around the country. While mostly generating renderings for the stores, various interior elements were modeled such as an iconic mural soffit, hexagonal display tables, and other store options to be decided between with the client.
