ABOUT ME INTERACTING WITH PEOPLE IS A VITAL PART OF MY LIFE AS I STUDY WITHIN A DESIGN INSTITUTION. CONSTANT COMMUNICATION, PRESENTING IDEAS AND WORKING WITH FELLOW CREATIVES HAD BECOME A NATURAL PRACTISE TO ME. THE DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT HAD MOULDED MY PERSONALITY TO BE MORE ENGAGING AND OUTGOING, EVEN OUTSIDE THE STUDIO. I AM ABLE TO APPROACH PEOPLE EASILY EQUALLY AS I CAN BE APPROACHABLE FOR THEM. ADDITIONALLY, CONSISTENTLY WORKING WITH MULTIPLE DEADLINES HAD CONDITIONED ME TO MAINTAIN COMPOSURE UNDER PRESSURE WITHOUT LETTING IT AFFECT THE EFFORT AND QUALITY OF MY WORK.

INTERESTS/ HOBBIES/ PASSION I HAVE A STRONG INTEREST IN FASHION. I LOVE TO EXPERIMENT WITH DIFFERENT CLOTHING STYLES - I DO NOT HAVE A CERTAIN “STYLE” AS THIS WOULD MEAN I AM RESTRICTING MYSELF FROM OTHER POSSIBILITIES. OTHER GREAT INTERESTS OF MINE INCLUDE CINEMATOGRAPHY, PHOTOGRAPHY, DRAWING AND ILLUSTRATION [BOTH DIGITAL AND TRADITIONAL]. I LIKE TO EXPRESS MY CREATIVITY THROUGH DRAWING THINGS LIKE BUILDINGS, PEOPLE AND MANY OTHER ENTITIES THAT INTRIGUES ME. LASTLY, I LIKE TO INVEST MY TIME IN PLAYING SPORTS AND PRODUCING AND LISTENING TO MUSIC.

MY DESIGN CONCEPT REVOLVES AROUND CREATING A MINI COMMUNITY SPACE FOR THE USERS. THE IDEA IS FOR THE HOUSE ITSELF TO ENCOURAGE OR RATHER IMPOSE A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE OWNERS. THE ULTIMATE GOAL IS FOR THE DWELLERS TO SOMEHOW EVENTUALLY FEEL THAT THEY ARE JUST ONE FAMILY LIVING IN HARMONY UNDER ONE ROOF AND ELIMINATE THE IMPRESSION OF SEGREGATION AND DIVISION.

THE FIRST DESIGN DRIVER REVOLVES AROUND LINEARITY. THIS WAS ADDRESSED BY RESPECTING THE EXISTING LENGTHY ARPROCESS CADE AND THROUGH DESIGN CREATING AN INTERVENTION THE EXTENDS INTERVENTION THIS FEATURE. SECONDLY, THE BUILDING IS TO IMPOSE VEGETATION TO REVITALISE THE EXISTING BLUE ATMOSPHERE EVOKED PRECEDENT BY THE DULL MATERIALITY OF THE SURROUNDING CONTEXT. LASTLY, BUILDING IS TO CREATE A SPACE THAT ENCOURAGES CONFLUENCE AND PROMOTES SOCIALISING. THE DESIGN AIMS TO ACHIEVE THIS BY PROVIDING A PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SPACE WHERE PEOPLE CAN SOCIALISE AND ESTABLISH RELATIONSHIPS EASILY.
