Driver & Dimmer Compatibility
The biggest challenge for manufacturers of retrofit LED lamps is the compatibility with thousands of existing combinations of dimmers and transformers. Chameleon drivers make Ledzworld retrofit lamps truly “plug and play� devices that can be used in most of the possible combinations of the commonly used drivers and dimmers. Chameleon drivers will create lamps that are hassle free and true halogen replacements. The lamps work well on a large variety of magnetic (halogen) transformers in combination with most commonly used leading edge dimmers as well as with a large variety of electronic transformers in combination with most commonly used trailing edge dimmers.
Optical Performance
Ledzworld’s innovative Reduced Glare Optical Technology (RGOT) uses diamond cut lenses that are machined using high natural or synthetic diamond-tipped tool bits. Diamond cutting is used to achieve higher accuracy and precision finished surfaces such as on a Fresnel lens or the faceted surfaces of a lens or mirror. This advanced optical technology brings apparent performance improvements to Ledzworld’s premium high performance LED lamps. Among these benefits are: 1) Diamond cut surfaces disperses light into a broader spread. 2) Reduces glare, stray light and hotspots. 3) Provides better control on beam angle of the lenses. 4) Improves beam collimation and uniformity by improving the overall TIR – Total Internal Reflection concept.

Ledzworld’s CTA 2.0 technology perfectly emulates the color tones of halogens when dimmed—gradually transforming from a bright soft tone color temperature at the highest level, to a warm flame color at the lowest leve (2700K to 1600K CCT). Dimmer Compatibility & Dimming Performance
Universal Trailing and Leading Edge Dimming (UTL) is a breakthrough proprietary technology engineered and patented by Ledzworld. It is a highly sophisticated driver that works flawlessly in combination with both trailing- and leading edge dimmers. Most mains voltage LED lamps show better behavior on either leading- or trailing edge dimmers.
