Our Difference. Your

Pentegra Investment Management Capabilities

Our Difference. Your Advantage. The Pentegra name was derived from the words pension + integrity. That’s because integrity is at the foundation of everything we do. For more than 75 years, we’ve delivered a different approach to every client investment solution. It begins with a strategic understanding of client needs, and putting those needs first. At Pentegra, integrity is more than just implied in our name.

What Makes Us Different? An Independent Approach We are not a “Wall Street” firm, or owned by a larger financial services organization, mutual fund or insurance company. We do not manage or sell proprietary products. We are independent from the inherent conflicts surrounding most financial services organizations, and our focus has always been to enhance the value of our clients.

Unparalleled Governance Pentegra does not answer to shareholders, we answer to our clients. Our Boards of Directors are made up of our clients, FHLB Presidents that serve on a rotating basis and CEOs of financial corporations, who use our investment services and place their own futures in our hands. Our Board Members act as fiduciaries and monitor all investment activities in that capacity. This translates into a no-nonsence conservative approach to product and portfolio development.

Unmatched Fiduciary Protection With a legacy built serving as an institutional fiduciary. Pentegra offers a level of fiduciary protection that is unmatched in the industry. We deliver an unrivaled level of oversight and accept a higher level of responsibility than anyone else. Our fiduciary heritage shapes our culture.

Our Products Pentegra has been managing money for over 75 years on a discretionary, implemented investing basis. We utilize institutional industry standards with every portfolio managed: • Capital Market Assumptions • Investment Policy Development and Adherence Monitoring • Portfolio Modeling • Extensive Manager Selection and Monitoring • Principles, Reporting and Ethics in Accordance with GIPS Guidelines

All client agreements are reviewed and approved by our legal team to ensure that fiduciary standards are outlined and met. Manager agreements and portfolio selections are documented and monitored. Fiduciary guidelines and adherence are continuously monitored. We continue to adopt best practices regarding standards of excellence.
