Whether you’re a resident of Tweed, from the surrounding area, or just visiting for the weekend we invite you to Experience Tweed! Tweed is the gateway to Canada’s world famous Land O’ Lakes offering people a getaway to the great outdoors, arts and culture, wellness, heritage, and more… The Municipality of Tweed is also an incredible place to live! While our beautiful landscape, affordable real estate, and friendly hospitality are significant attractors, people love it here because of our vibrant communities. As Mayor I am proud to represent Tweed in many different facets, and I often hear “…there is always something going on in Tweed.” After reading through this book you will see that they are right! There is always something happening in Tweed because (like generations before) we are a community that is run by volunteers and supported by local businesses. People care about things like minor sports, adult recreation, live music and good times. The Municipality is pleased to help highlight some of these things in our 2nd Annual Rec and Culture Guide. Enjoy…
