Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park Over 200 miles of trails and endless amounts of serenity in one of America’s most beloved parks. Mirror Pond The scenery never gets old here. In the summer, you can take a wildlife safari and see the abundant animals that call this incredible place home, including deer, elk, wolves, buffalo, bald eagles, moose and more. In the winter, visitors can take a snowmobile or snowshoe tour to see the animals in their winter habitat or visit Old Faithful. If you want to take off on foot or bicycle, single and multi-day hikes are abundant as are the long, quiet roads that wind throughout the park. The Grand Teton in Grand Teton National Park rises to 13,770 feet and towers more than a mile above the valley of Jackson Hole. Twelve Teton peaks reach above 12,000 feet and support a dozen mountain glaciers. The west side of the range slopes gently, showing the angle of tilt of the Earth's crust. The Teton Range is the youngest named range in the Rockies and displays some of North America's oldest rocks, and offers some of the best climbing and exploring in the country. As Theodore Roosevelt said while touring the Tetons, "This is how mountains are supposed to look." 2 Iconic Adventures // DaVita GO Jackson Proposal January 2013
