Dawn Stith Evans

A top litigator in business and securities law, Dawn Stith Evans’ professionalism and success have earned her a listing in The Best Lawyers In America© 2015, an “AV” peer-review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and a spot on Birmingham Magazine’s list of the “Rising Stars” among Birmingham attorneys. From FINRA securities arbitration to minority shareholder rights to employment and commercial litigation, Ms. Evans’ law practice runs the gamut of business and commercial concerns. Her cases typically involve accounting issues, business valuations, shareholder control fights, derivative suits, business “divorces” among co-owners, non-solicitation agreements, covenants not to compete, and securities fraud. She represents both plaintiffs and defendants on the state and federal court levels and before arbitration panels and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, in Alabama and around the country. She graduated cum laude with an accounting degree from Auburn University in 1994, and a J.D. (cum laude) from Cumberland School of Law in 1998.
