CCCBSD EVERYDAY HEROES

The Children’s Center for Communication Beverly School for the Deaf

“A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.” —Joseph Campbell 1949

Teachers adapted school materials, resources and technology while creating and strengthening the connection between home and school. The regression and struggles the students and parents endured were immeasurable. While making every effort to be ready for a safe return to school, teachers worked tirelessly to support the families.

Our faculty, determined to give our students the best education, transitioned to use new tools, technology and creative teaching techniques that meet the unique needs of our learners. A Remote Learning Site was developed to ensure students and families had access to learning tools, lessons, activities, and materials.
