Packaging Configuration
The Packaging Configuration environment (Fig. 7.1) allows the configuration of the packet strip that will be extracted from the Pacmed, (sort, packet information, etc…) for the different packaging types (unit dose, multidose, prepack and PRN). Each packaging configuration allows the configuration of the four packaging types. However, if different settings are required, for the facilities you are packaging for, distinct packaging configurations will have to be created. 1 2

7.1 Setting up the Packaging Configuration The Packaging Configuration environment, which is accessed through the Packaging Configuration button (Fig. 7.1-1), is divided into three tabs for each existing Packaging Configuration: The General Settings tab (Fig. 7.12), the Headers and footers tab (Fig. 7.1-3) and the Bag Design tab (Fig. 7.14). Those will be the focus of the following sections:
