Visual elements The visual identity of PT Negócios has 3 basic elements: logo, colours and typography.

Myriad Pro The PT Negócios logo consists in a combination of a frame (with blue gradients) with two circles and the “PT Negócios” in the NeoTech Pro Bold font.

The colour scheme of PT Negócios brand consists in a main colour (PT blue), a complementary colour palette, and a supplementary colour palette.

The PT Negócios font is Myriad Pro. It is a font with the necessary characteristics to create a clear and legible message.

Composition The PT Negócios logo consists in two distinct elements: - the combination of the frame with the circles forming a symbolic institutional association; - the text consisting in the prefix “PT” combined with the name “Negócios”.

Logo

Colour versions Five colour versions of PT Neg贸cios brand were established: a polychromatic version (main), two monocrhomatic versions (black) in positive and negative and two special versions for use in merchandising (PT blue), in positive and negative.

The monochromatic versions should only be used when the use of colours is limited, or when the method of reproduction has low resolution like a fax or photocopier. The special versions for the application in merchandising can only be used when it is impossible to use the main version.

Colour systems for reproduction of the PT Neg贸cios logo The polychromatic version of PT Neg贸cios logo has two colour model variants: - CMYK colour model (four colour process) - PMS colour system (pantone) The PMS variant is made from two direct colours (pantone 3135 and black) and must always be used whenever the four color reproduction is not necessary.

Negative

Monochromatic versions The monochromatic versions usage is only in negative (white) or positive (black). They should only be used when the use of colours is limited or when the method of production has low quality, like a fax or photocopier.

Special version only for use in merchandising Positive Negative

2D polychromatic versions These versions can only be used in merchandising printing when it is impossible to use the original version.

Logo

Protection area and minimum dimensions To preserve the integrity and legibility of the PT Negócios logo it was established a: - protection area regarding other graphic elements; - minimum dimensions for reproduction.

Protection area Its limits were determined on “Cap Height”, the height of the capital letters of the “PT Negócios” name.

Minimum screen dimensions

16 pixels Minimum dimensions Minimum dimensions for reproduction were settled to guarantee the logo legibility. These limits were calculated regarding the logo’s shape and the different reproduction media (printed material/screen visualisation).

Applications on backgrounds The background examples illustrated below provide the preview of the colour behaviour. Don’t use them as a reference for the background shape.

The PT Negócios logo cannot be placed in a box, it must stand alone.

Logo

Incorrect usage Changing the logo harms the coherence and perception of its identity compromising its goals.

The logo must always be applied in a conscious way, respecting its integrity. The examples below are applied to all logo variants.

Distortion (horizontal, vertical or perspective)

Alteration of the placement of or proportionality between elements

Logo

PT endorsement proportion In order to reinforce PT Negócios credibility, the use of the PT endorsement is always recommended.

The proportion between the two logos should be adjusted to the layout and never exceed the fixed limit.

Limit The PT logo must be less than or equal to the measurement “h” (height of the PT Negócios logo) when the PT is used as endorsement.

PT endorsement location It is recommended that PT Neg贸cios logo is located in the upper left corner of the layout. The endorsement must be placed on the opposite side, at the top.

When this rule is not applicable, the endorsement must be placed at the lower left corner of the PT Neg贸cios logo. It is not recommended to put the PT endorsement near the PT Neg贸cios logo.

Myriad Pro The institutional font for the communication of all PT Group brands is Myriad Pro. It has the necessary characteristics to create a clear and legible message.

In order to maintain coherence among all communication material, the following weights are recommended: Light, Regular, Semibold, Bold and Black and their variants in italic.

Typography

Arial If a default font is needed for internal applications or presentations, we recommend the use of Arial.

Its versatility allows it to be used successfully in printed and digital media. The use of Regular and Bold weights (and their italic variants) are recommended.
