Shrinkage • The percentage of loss of products between manufacture and point of sale is referred to as shrinkage. • Shrinkage occurs due to employee theft, administrative error and vendor fraud.

• 1% of sales will be allotted for shrinkage. • Employees that are caught stealing will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Inventory Procedures • Physical inventory will be conducted every 6 months. • It will be conducted after hours. • The software that will be used to track inventory is Fishbowl. • Cost of Fishbowl $1500.00 • It is a QuickBooks inventory management system. Ideal for small businesses Fishbowl will help balance inventory levels, keep records of product sales and orders, and integrate with QuickBooks so barcodes can be scanned to update records with out double data entry.


Damages • Damages will require a Return Authorization # that will be provided after the customer has contacted customer service. • The item must be returned with the RA# and a damage slip filled out that will be sent via email.


Handling and Allowances on Returns • Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of being shipped. • Merchandise must include the original box in its original condition without postal labels on the products packaging. • Damages to or omission of this box may result in a fee. • Merchandise must have all tags attached. • Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. • Final Sale items may not be returned. • A Return Authorization Number (RA#) must be obtained from customer service to receive a refund. RA#’s will only be honored 14 days after authorization. • Include packing slip and return form. • 2% allowance for returns on items • My assistant in customer service will handle returns
