Dear Sponsor: On behalf of the Arizona BogeyMasters Club, it is my honor to invite you to contribute, support and participate in the Arizona BogeyMasters Open 2014 at the Talking Stick Resort and Casino in Scottsdale, Arizona on Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27, 2014. For those who are not familiar with our Club, we are a social golf group of businessmen, professionals, and investors. We are professionals such as doctors, lawyers, and accountants, to business owners from a variety of industries, including lodging, restaurants, retail, construction, manufacturing, and service, all of whom enjoy to golf and networking. Our members enjoy the thrills of sinking a long birdie putt and driving the ball 300 yards down the middle of the fairway, but they will all attest that there is no greater joy than that of giving back. We as a Club have committed ourselves to bringing smiles to kids throughout the valley. Thus, we have dedicated all the proceeds from the Arizona BogeyMasters Open of 2014 to the Crisis Nursery. Crisis Nursery programs support its mission of breaking the cycle of child abuse and neglect by strengthening families and addressing the social, psychological and developmental needs of each child. Families can turn to the Crisis Nursery at the beginning of a crisis situation, when the opportunity to create lifelong change is the greatest. We encourage you, as our sponsors, to help make this event a success. This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your company’s commitment by giving back to the community. We would be honored to promote your company, its products or services at the event. We simply ask you or your company to help us give back to the children and families at the Crisis Nursery. Enclosed please find details of the sponsorships and participation opportunities for the Arizona BogeyMasters Open 2014. Your commitment and involvement will make this year’s event a memorable one. Children’s Shelter: sheltering children from all kinds of storms Our Children’s Shelter, the longest-serving shelter in the Valley, provides a safe haven for children threatened with abuse and neglect and a lifeline for parents facing emergencies leaving them temporarily unable to care for their children. Last year, we provided 9,360 days of care and comprehensive services to 300 young children and helped them transition safely home or to new foster or adoptive families. The Children’s Shelter also offers a Day Respite Program to families facing emergency situations. This is a temporary, nonresidential safe haven for children as parents handle crises, such as medical and mental health issues, homelessness, domestic violence and court visits.

Foster Care: caring today for a better tomorrow

FACES of Crisis Nursery (Families and Children Experiencing Success) provides exceptional, comprehensive, early childhood education and family support for vulnerable children and families living in our immediate neighborhoods; where poverty, violence and the lack of accessible and affordable services and transportation continue to pose barriers for many families to fully achieve their goals. As a Quality First provider through First Things First, FACES was awarded a Five Star Quality Rating – the highest possible rating, one of only a handful of centers statewide and the only center in Central Phoenix to earn this rating.

Our Family Support Coordination Program, a collaborative with six other human service agencies, works with families with young children facing multiple challenges. Our Coordinators help parents set goals, navigate myriad systems of care and connect with needed community resources and services. This collaborative began receiving referrals in November 2012 and in its first eight months of operation has provided services to 302 families with young children living in Central Phoenix.
