VC Construction Value: $11,985,000 Client: Austgroup Holdings Pty Ltd. Consultant: Architects EAT Construction Company: MAXSTRA Completion Date: December 2013 Description: 10 story, 55 apartments, no basement. Site visit The building is basically concrete structure (In situ, Precast, Concrete block masonry) Slabs and ceilings (which is upper level's slab) are in situ concrete. All the PVC and copper pipes are for sewage and water.

Double stud is for different plaster board (fire resistance; Red coloure and normal; White colour) constructing and aqustic such as improving soundproof.
Usually, bathroom's level is 30-50mm lower than floor because finishing with different mixing type of concrete which is called 'Deck mud'. This mixing method of concrete is for wet place, such as shower floor and bathroom floor. Deck mud, also known as floor mud or dry pack mortar, is a simple mixture of sand, Portland cement and water. Very little water is used, creating a think mixture, with little shrinkage after application (Ehow, 2013).
This is formwork (Sacrificial formwork) for stairs (in situ concrete) in the building. 'Sacrificial formwork' is the form for concrete is not removed and it is work with the concrete for carry loads.
In this building there are 3 different plaster boards which are Blue; using in wet area such as kitchens, bathroom, Red; more fireproof than ordinary one and White; ordinary one. Left picture is using Blue and right is using Red plaster board.
The roof of the building is flat roof because the slope is 2째.
