SOLDIER SPOTLIGHT 151st TIOG Promotes Two More Young Leaders Headquarters and Headquarters Company Commander Capt. Kyle Carney promoted two soldiers from the S1 section, Pfc. Natalie Jones and Pfc. Keturah Coleman to the rank of private first class, Jan. 13, at Fort Totten, N.Y. “These soldiers have a lot of potential. Chimere Johnson, a property book non-commissioned officer from the S4 section and member of the 151st Theater Information Operations Group graduated Jan.3, from the New York City of Technology with an Associate of Applied Science for Registered Nurse degree. So what’s next? Johnson already has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and with her new AAS degree, she is now eligible to start her master’s degree in nursing in April. “Nursing is a very challenging career. Bearing the task of becoming a RN involves dedication, tenacity and willpower, as well as withstanding grueling hours of intense studying, even through the early hours of the night,” stated Johnson.

Meet New HHC First Sergeant

My name is 1st Sgt. Brenda Llamas Young and I am the incoming first sergeant of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 151st Theater Information Operations Group. I come from the 84th Training Command in Fort Knox, K.Y., where I was the readiness non-commissioned officer in charge and a member of the G3 section. I have been in the United States Army Reserve for the last 18 years. I am really looking forward to working with and getting to know everyone at the unit.
