1. The first thing you’ll need to do is open the supplied carrying case and review the instructions and familiarize yourself with the parts.

2. Next, remove one of the 48� poles with a coupler on the end and the pole without the coupler from the case.

3. Next, slide one end of the cable over the same pole that the clamp was just placed over and loosely hand tighten.

4. Now that both the clamp and cable have been attached to the pole, attach the swivel joint making sure to line it up with the other joint and then hand tighten that clamp as well.

5. After that, remove another pole from the case and attach it to the other side of the swivel joint as shown; once again, make sure that all of the couplers are aligned and then hand tighten the clamp.

* 6. Slide the other end of the cable over the final pole and (see inset) then attach it to the previous piece and hand tighten the clamps.

7. Next, attach the remaining pole making sure once again that it’s lined up with the other pieces and then hand tighten the clamp.

8. After ensuring that all of the hardware is lined up as specified, go ahead and tighten the four clamps (three on the couplers and one on the swivel joint.)

9. Now that you’ve got the clamps secured, put the rig aside for a moment and remove the single magnet assembly and a clamp from the case.

10. Find a flat, clean surface on the underside of the vehicle and mount the single magnet assembly in place .

11. Next, remove the double magnet assembly from the case and make your way to the opposite side of the vehicle once again finding a secure area to mount it.

12. With both magnet assemblies in place, slide the completed system underneath the car and mount the front to the double magnet assembly using the clamp you placed around the pole earlier.

13. Next, move back to the other side of the vehicle and mount the rig to the single magnet assembly using the remaining clamp.

14. Once you’ve double check that both of the magnet clamps are secure, maneuver the end of the rig that’s exiting from the side of the car to get the desired shot.

15. Once you’ve double checked that both of the magnet clamps are secure, move to the side of the car with the swivel joint making sure that the swivel joint is approximately 12” to 24” away from the side of the car. Now, slide the cable as close to the car as possible(away from the swivel joint) with the cable aimed at the top side of the pole and then tighten the cable clamp.

16. Lift the end of the rig off the ground to the desired height for your shot and slide the other end of the cable towards the end of the pole until it’s tight. Tighten cable clamp to keep the rig in place. If you’ve followed all of the instructions, go ahead and double check that all of the clamps are lined up and tighened and then you’re ready to get to work. Remember, this kit is not meant for high speed action shots but instead, low speed images. We recommend keeping an eye on your gear as you shoot just as a precaution as well.
