In the project will be a series of villas in various styles in Malibu Beach developed. Every student was looking for a Star or a famous character and intended to design an apartment for them. I chose Johnny Depp as the homeowner and his native American origin (indian descent )as the starting point of my design.

TIPI The 3rd floor is the most important storey in the Building. It‘s Johnny Depp‘s private space. The inspiration is from the Tipi House of native American. A significant character of tipis is that they are settled side by side, which porvides a home atmosphere. The Indians are living in groups and are close to each other. That is why I set the rooms closely together.

Researching electromobility in practice and making the Stuttgart region and the city of Karlsruhe a living laboratory for a new mobility solution - this is the common goal of around 40 projects under the name of LivingLab BWe mobil in oder to promote the sustainable mobility. In the LivingLab BWe mobile, electric mobility is used from e-bikes to cars, plug-in hybird and commercial vehicles and tested in daily use. The development of sustainable mobility centers and viable business models is also the focus of the large-scale demonstration project. In the Stuttgart region and the city of Karlsruhe, more than 2,000 electric vehicles have been installed on the road and more than 1000 charging posts have been installed.

In this context, an e-Mobility Salon is to be designed, a place where these topics can be brought to a broader public in a variety of ways and made them tangible. After the fictitious demolition of the Esso petrol station stands below the Birkenkopfes(511 m above sea level) at the RotenwaldstraĂ&#x;e for a new building. The area is flat and well connected.

For the main structure, i‘ve chosen the hanging roof in order to create a broad room without supporting elements in centre.The prestressed concrete was used to avoid cracking problems.

I believe that the combination of concrete and wood is the most harmonious and beautiful dialogue in architecture. An artificial material provides stability and the other one bring the very nature to us.

Founded in 1994 in Munich, the Alvar Aalto company preserves the memorable works of one of the most important architects of the last century. In addition,it informs about tendencies in Finnish architecture as well as the product design and works closely with Finnish museums and the Alvar Aalto Foundation. The company intends to build its own building in southern Finland to provide space for the educational activities. The aim is to create an appropriate space for exchanges and meetings between architects, academics and representatives of cultural life, as well as for the work and accommodation of Alvar Aalto fellows.

Perspektive over the river on the opposite side

The starting point of the concept is the remote influence of the building. The construction site is located in a valley area of two mountains. I would like to integrate the building into the natural topography. The direction of the lake plays an important role in this situation. Through those long and narrow openings people can look upon the peaceful surface of the lake and the massiv winter snows. The solar elevation in southern Finnland is about 40°, which means the sunlight can illuminate a very deep room. The windows of various sizes let in sunlight and reflect the passing of time during the course of a day and seasons of the year.

The role of craftsmanship has changed dramatically over the last 600 years, but in addition to office and factory work, it is still being produced in workshops in the city. In addition to the craftsmanship that emerged after the freedom of trade from the guilds, there are more informal cooperative structures, which are especially important for smaller businesses.

In this background, I am dealing with more unusaul Working structures and the everyday life of shoemaker. My concept is to connect the entire building to the Cologne Cathedral. I hoped to find the geometric relationship between them. So I have applied the abstract geometry of the cathedral (pointed triangle) in the Facade of the building . This creates a dialogue between the city and the handicraft workshop.

The two-storey building appears clear porpotion on the Facade, which divides the room function. The main task from the craftsman's house is to show people the traditional shoemaking art and various shoe materials and tools.

"Stad van Handwerksgilden ist eine Architektur des Rechtecks." "The City of handicraft" is divided into different rooms such as workshops, apartments, residence, education and work through the grid. They connect and communicate with each other to form an organic public space and a common space,in order to create a unique gathering place where handicraftsmen and artisan could collaborate and innovate together, and where the Antwerpen community could gather to experience handicraft diversity in the centre of the city.

Located in the city of Taranto in southern Italy, surrounded by the two seas, the old city of Borgo antico has maintained a conservative architectural style and urban planning for the past 200 years. On the piazza castello, there are pillars and ruins of the Poseidon temple (6th century BC) and the remained Walls of the old church. My mission was to design a building or group of buildings on the site between Via Duomo, Via Nasuti and Piazza Castello, that can be considered as cornerstone of the city of Taranto.

The traffic on the central island Borgo Antico is very crowded and rugged. The site is just on the side of the main bridge, through which different vehicles streamed in and out of the island. The parking place is also everywhere, and they crowed people‘s living space. This traffic environment is very unfriendly to pedestrians. My idea is to create a public square that can accommodate a variety of activities and give the citizen a public space to enjoy the view towards the See. At the same time, the integration of most of the scattered parking place into one parking lot makes the streets more clean and tidy, so that the pedestrian can share a more comfortable space and perspective.

The Lobby and the colonnade leading to the ruins are located on the ground floor. By visual deviation, one can see that the remained Doric columns in the ruins are more or less connected to the museum. It seems that the entire Museum is supported by these archaic broken columns.

Library The library as a building type has a millennium-old history. It is a service facility. As a collection accessible to a particular community. However it is far more than a public space to acquire knowledge and information. It is more like a spiritual field, a temple of culture, and the library is an indispensable type of building, both in the past and in the future. Public libraries are changing as a result of the rapid development of information technology. The introduction of digitized media and a variety of emerging book models has changed the original library structure. In this way, people can think about whether the library is just a collection of books and readers.

Modern libraries are not isolated islands in a high school system, but rather nodes of communication and interdisciplinary discourse. They create a place for social interaction, an area of concentration for students and a space for interactive learning in laboratories and multimedia centers.

In the heart of Campus West, RWTH University, a modern Univerts library to meet the steady increase in student numbers and the need for a high-quality academic communications center will be built. It has to adapt to the topography and it is equipped with a modern library management system, so that students can find the materials and books they need more quickly. At the same time, in the field of electronic media, it should continue to react comparatively quickly in the future so that the building can last for a long time.

Here, the constructive-spatial concept stands for the very differentiated functional requirements of a library building (free-hand area, reading areas, lending / return, magazines, archives, administration, workshop, etc.) in the foreground, for which an adequate structure has to be developed. Reading rooms, group workspaces and individual workplaces should enable intensive work directly in the vicinity of the collections or via electronic aids. The space should be provided by public areas such as conference area, exhibition space and a cafeteria.

POOL AT FRAGRANT HILL Villa and interiordesign

This site is at the foot of Fragrant Hill. It is a swimming pool annex next to the main housing area. The L-shaped form divides the outdoor space into two parts as a front and back courtyard. It also shields the courtyard from neighboring homes and the street. The exterior wall is cladded in stone from a local quarry. The skylights and windows of various sizes let in sunlight and reflect the passing of time during the course of a day and seasons of the year. Through these openings one can look upon the summer trees’ lush foliage and winter snows, further enriching one’s swimming experience.
