Burked Fluid Control systems When it comes to measuring chemical fluids of all types, as well as gases, the Burked products and systems have been designed to produce accurate measurement. The fluid control systems have been subdivided into different equipment, performing the same task and action but for different fluids and gases. The whole idea is to have these equipment give very accurate measurements for the sole purpose of making industrial applications very easy to handle. The fluid control systems are also designed to regulate and control the flow of the various fluids and gases, thereby ensuring that their applications are effective and efficient. The applications could be in the form of filling, pressure, or even temperature; sometimes, it could even be an application that has to deal with the pressure of the fluid or gas. There are some unique cases which involves the processing of solenoid, analysing valves, pneumatic actuation, as well as sensors; for all of these measurements, the equipment’s used for their measurement, falls under the Burked fluid control systems and are all described below. The Flow sensor for continuous flow measurement- Description, features and application: The flow sensor is a device used within the flow meter to sense the flow rate of a chemical fluid; it records the rate at which a fluid flows within the flow logger, also known as the flow meter. It features a conductive and non-conductive fluid capability Its parts are not movable; they are also compact in design It processes pressure up to 10 bar, as well as processes temperature up to 80 °C It has a high chemical resistance capability due to the fact that it is not sealed It has a large display screen as well as a membrane keyboard for keying in figures and data

Application: • It is applied in cooling circuits in order to calculate the flow measurement • It is used in rinsing systems to calculate the flow control • It is also used in CIP systems The Flow transmitter/ pulse divider- Description, features and application: The flow transmitter plus pulse divider is equipment used to treat the flow already measured and calibrated by a flow sensor. The flow sensors usually used in conjunction with the flow transmitter/pulse divider are the 8020, 8030 and or the 8070. The essence of the flow transmitter/pulse divider is to make sure that all flow measurements are done without the use of the cables and unnecessary documentation between the transmitter and the sensor. There are different models of the flow transmitter/pulse divider, of which a removable control unit is attached to the equipment. The attachment of the control unit is only done depending on the model; there are models that can function independently of the control unit. The removable control unit on its own part is able to display the measured flow on a selected unit; one can also check other parameters and their settings with the detachable control unit.


Application: The compact designed flow transmitter/pulse divider is mounted on top of the flow sensor, so that after the flow is measured, the transmitter immediately begins to convert the pulse received from the sensor into signals, which is then further treated and processed.
