Succeeding With The Right Real Estate Investing Education By: Curt Cloyd – Director Personal Wealth Academy, LLC Have you just started out investing in real estate? Do you feel overwhelmed by all the things that you have to do? If so, pay close attention here. Real estate investing isn't that easy as it sounds. It can be truly cut-throat if you don't know what you are doing. But before we get into the main aspects of real estate investing, let's talk about what made you get into real estate investing in the first place. If you're like most people, you'd say the money. But is it really? I don't think so. You see... the reason most people start out real estate investing is because they have an ardent desire for freedom - the freedom to be able to do what they want, when they want and with whom they want. They want to be their own bosses, take vacations as needed, spend more time family without having to worry about money. Is that what you really want? If you answer yes to the above question, you're on the right track. But that alone isn't enough. Almost all real estate investors come into play this game with the very same dream. Out of the 100 percent, there's only the three percent that get to live such a lifestyle and achieve such high levels of freedom. The rest of the 97% sink back. They end up failures. Some make a reasonable living and there are others that make little or nothing. Now I'm pretty sure that you don't want to fall into the rest of the 97%. But that's what's going to happen if you don't watch your steps. You see... real estate investing is tough. You need to approach it like any other business. What is the secret ingredient to success in any business? It's education, period. If you want to succeed as a real estate investor, you need strong real estate investing education. And by education, I don't mean enrolling in the classy seminars, reading those books, etc. Those things are only there to help you. But they won't determine your success. If you don't believe me, just go to these seminar programs and observe the people over there. You'll find that over 90% of the attendees keep attending one course after another but never really achieve anything. And then they'd end up blaming the programs for their failures. The truth is the fault isn't in the program. The programs do work if used correctly. But unfortunately, the folks who attend these programs never really take action on what's taught. If they attend a program on short sales this week, they'll think that it's too hard and skip to a program on rental properties next week. Have you done the same thing too? Answer the question truthfully. You might have... You would have continued to look for a much better, easier program that can make your real estate investing education and career a lot easier. If you've done that, let me tell you something: You're not alone. Unfortunately if you continue to remain this way, you'll never be able to achieve the success that you hope to achieve. Your dreams will be forgotten and you'll end up returning to a day job that you always hated. There are countless stories of nameless people that gave up on the dream and started to live their normal, boring lives because what they had hoped for didn't happen. The first step in real estate education is to STOP searching for the next great program that'll help you fix and flip properties in a better, easier way. Marketers will continue to launch new programs continually at you so that you buy them. But you need to refrain from all the tactics they use and stick to one program. If you aren't able to commit to one real estate investing education program, you might as well hire a personal coach to help you with your real estate education. A personal coach will be able to train you physically or through the internet or phone and give you an actionable plan that you can implement to get to the next level with your real estate business. You see... when it comes to succeeding at real estate investing, there's nothing really better than hiring a coach. A personal coach or mentor that can truly understand you and create training material specifically suited for you is the best choice. Plus working with a coach enables you to connect with other real estate individuals. Your coach will be able to put you in touch with high profile contacts with whom you can network and take your real estate business to the next level with. No training program will educate you as well as a personal coach when it comes to real estate investing. Š2012 Personal Wealth Academy LLC http://personalwealthacademy.com
Instead of enrolling in 10 five hundred dollar programs over the course of six months, I recommend spending five thousand dollars once to get real estate coaching so you can have a plan clearly chalked out for yourself.
