CHILD LABOUR

We all have some small kids at our homes. Our brothers or sisters, our niece or nephew, our son or daughter or in our neighbourhood. When we look at them we see pure hearts and shining pearled eyes with a lots of dreams. We watch them playing and their innocent faces staring at this world with lots of expectations. We also want that our kids become successful and fulfill their dreams because we know that they are the ones who are going to frame the future of the country we are living in, they are the ones who are going to make us proud. But we are unaware of this fact that out there in the world there are millions of children whose dreams are shattered and their shining light has become dull. This is all because out of all the children some have become prey to a cruel hunter called child labour. This hunter has cut down their wings and snatched their power to fly. Child labour is nothing but a shameful act in which innocent, small children have to give up their childhood and have to work in small dingy cells or factories. Make a visit to a factory of crackers, you will be astonished to see hundreds of children working in harmful surrounding, and manufacturing crackers. It is obvious that those kids are not willing to involve in child labour. But it is their situation which force them to indulge in child labour. Their situations make a way for them to land up on a destination named child labour. Reasons are uncountable. The most common reason related to child labour is poverty. Poor and illiterate people do not understand the need of education and they see their children as a source of income. The financial conditions of a family, willingly or unwillingly, forces the child to do child labour. This is not the only reason. Crime comes following poverty. Small children are kidnapped and forced to earn by indulging in child labour. We need to understand that those innocent children are unaware of this evil world and its selfish acts. Making them work for someone’s own benefit is forbidding them from enjoying their right of living their childhood.everyday millions of children fall prey to this act unknowingly. They can be manipulated easily and have no option left in front of their families or anyone who is forcing them to work. Let alone be future, their health also keeps on deteriorating, which is one of the most important assets of life. Working in small factories with pollution, or on construction sites in all the mud makes them sick. It is unfortunate that in this age, when their hands should be covered with colours to paint a bright future, their hands are covered with black coal colour of child labour. Child labour is nothing but a hindrance or stoppage in development of those children along with our country. It is very important to make those children free from the chains which make them stuck to their present situations so that they can become free souls chasing their dreams. It is important to make this world free from child labour. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
